The problem is a great lack of engagement with the rest of the forum, which has created a culture conflict. Think of it like a bunch of immigrants setting up camp in a previously culturally homogenous area. While individual members of that immigrant group might be able to successfully integrate with the surrounding culture, the large majority of them will tend to ghetoise and become insular, simply because they're culturally distinct. It leads to resentment in both directions; the native culture feels threatened by the influx of potentially incompatible culture and sees it as the cause of all the issues it experiences from that moment forward, while the immigrant culture resents having to adapt and subsume to its new environment and alien cultural mores. Sometimes it can work out, if the cultures are compatible enough to merge peacefully into one another, but a lot of the time the end result is some level of conflict, until one culture becomes dominant and the other is suppressed.

Basically what I'm saying is, the only solution that doesn't lead to A&H being nuked is for A&H members to join the wider board and become part of it, rather than becoming an insular minority that finds itself constantly scapegoated for everything wrong with the site.

Honestly I rarely go to lolcow forums because most of it is just as circlejerky as this place, only there's new info like what? Every five weeks, and most of it isn't noteworthy. I'll only go if there's a constant stream of new info since I feel like I can at least contribute, also if at least it's funny.
It really doesn't feel like there is a culture conflict - it's the same exact brand of retards all the way down (though the fedposting jew faggotry and the 'we iz legion feer us or we infect' shit is pretty cohesive in A&N so uh, fuck that). More like A&N is the redheaded stepchild of a family of inibred rednecks and they need something to vent on.

Games subforum do be having some neat tidbits tho, like that one destroy all humans game that just came out and no one was talking about.

The new press secretary was asked about the constant mass shootings in Chicago and which of the gun control measures being proposed would have any effect on them. She doesn't address Chicago but goes on to say that red flag laws in California have stopped 21 mass shootings in a 2 year period (pre-covid). How and where did they get that number?

Should be time stamped.
