Off-Topic Troon sightings in the wild

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I thought I saw a MtF at Whole Foods last week and I'm not sure what to make of the sighting. Like, it was at a distance, so I wasn't completely sure if it was just my imagination.

@SpergPatrol, it's good that you guys have a good relationship besides differences :).

Took a teen relative to the mall last week, we were browsing an alt/hip store and one of the staff was sporting a stubble n eyeshadow combo and wearing 90s trash-goth clothes.

My teen: I kinda see the point of pronoun pins now cos I want to know if he's a she/her nonce or just arty and chill.

Last time we sort of talked about trans stuff was a couple years ago and I got TERF shamed for saying JKR didn't really say anything THAT bad and maybe she should read and think before cancelling

Tide is turning!!!
A trend I've noticed with zoomers is that they go out of their way to refer to troons using their "preferred pronouns". Not necessarily because they believe in transgenderism or whatever, but because they do it to be respectful. Meanwhile, they may talk about being sceptical over them being "trans' or a "real woman", ect

There are plenty of decent, upstanding trans people just trying to live their lives. I find that some of them are even passable if you're not looking for discrepancies.

And then there are the troons.
The troons and batshit insane wokies have largely chased chill trans people out of their own spaces, I used to follow some of the original truscum guys on tumblr about 10 years ago, most of them eventually just stopped posting about trans shit altogether because tucutes and baeddels(basically proto-troons) wouldn't stop sending them death and rape threats and shit. All because they pointed out shit like you have to have dysphoria to be trans (reducing dysphoria is the whole point of transitioning), buying black market hormones on the internet isn't a good idea, binding with ace bandages can break your ribs, shit like that.

I can definitely see why someone who hasn't met any trans people IRL and only has experiences with troons and dream/dreamself bored white girls would assume all trans people are like that, unfortunately. I think the key is just getting out and interacting with different kinds of people IRL more, and realizing generally most people in any given group are gonna be more normie than anything else and thus not really have any online presence of note.

One of the only troons I've ever really seen in the wild was at some mall in Dallas. (Dallas is kinda liberal for a southern city, at least I think it is.) Motherfucker was just nonchilantly walking and he looked like a middle aged, skinny white male, balding, was legit wearing some fucking tutu or skirt. It was so jarring. You usually think of a fat troon but this was some scrawny guy, kinda tall, and I legit had to do a triple take.

Too many encounters to mention as I live in a very trans friendly college town.

The crappest ones I saw were at a screening of Dune. Two men in their late 30s - mid 40s, fat, heavily balding, wearing some very ill fitting shift dresses in lurid 1970s patterns. One of them was cross eyed. They looked almost exactly like this, but in drag:

Went to a festival a few hours away with family and a few friends recently. It was crowded and clearly in the ghetto, but otherwise a good time. It had lots of booths, most of them involving food, crafts or nearby businesses (not local-local because ghetto lol) getting some free advertising.
One of these booths was about "community abolition", looked like it was handing out flyers and buttons. Rainbow logo, frumpy clerks, and I'm 99.9% certain one of the people holding down the fort was a tranny. I'm not completely sure, because being a fatty is a really good way to make your sex ambiguous and confuse the clock, but the thing had a trans flag button on, didn't take basic care of their hair (stark blonde with roots clear as day) and just.. didn't feel feminine or tomboyish, like a dude playing dressup. Weird-looking shoulders too.

I saw a couple of other vague genderblobs with dyed hair, "gay as heck!" sorts of clothing/accessories and unflattering clothes, and two more gay-nigger-tranny hybrid flags during the time I was there. One of them was hoisted up with the state flag for whatever reason and another, bigger one being paraded around by a very gay-looking man (though it could've very well been another troon, he had sloppy stark pink eyeshadow on and I didn't get a great look at his clothes), which was funny to me since I doubt "inner city youths" are big fans of gay people any other time of the year.
For the record, I've barely spotted them in person anywhere else but in or near cities, so I'm convinced that higher-end hipster areas (or cities in general) are like a hive for them.

At the supermarket. An extremely old man in a men's singlet, very short skirt and an extremely pretty 1920s crystal necklace. Rounding off the look he was balding, had hairy shoulders, and about three days worth of stubble. I have no idea what he was. I don't think he knew either.

Why is it always the most dysgenic/orc-like motherfuckers who troon-out?
They are the most visible. I recall seeing photos of decent- or genuinely good-looking guys trooning out in the tranny sideshows thread.
Some of them hope it's going to fix all their problems and drink the groomer Flavor-Aid: turn the undateable hulking manbeast into a dainty gorl having all the hot hot lesbian sex "she" wants. Some do it for the coom and some like 99% of the recent troon athletes do it simply as a business decision.

Was at a club for our christmas party and a troon walks in, unshaven face, short hair, hairy arms, chest and legs and in a neon boob tube and mini skirt. It then sits down at a table by itself, nursing a drink and being antisocial, feeling sorry for itself in the middle of the club.

Basically just looked like if you got a guy from the IT department to wear a plasticky dress as a joke.

My brother told me his job just recently hired a troon but this of the ftm type.
FTMs are basically tom boys, good to go. There was a really cute one on the train last week, she thought she looked like a man, but she was basically a cute girl with short hair.

EDIT: Obviously pre-surgery, after that get fucked

I had a tranny enter a tabletop group that was just starting. I set an internal countdown on it ruining the entire thing. The character he wanted to make was a clear self-insert.

Took less than five sessions for emotional meltdowns over in-character events. He needed a twenty minute break so he could get over a panic attack he had. My character told his character to fuck off, and this was triggering. He had to seethe in silence, writing an emotional letter to the DM about how this hurt his feelings.

The DM wrote an ending to the campaign shortly thereafter and told the troon we weren't starting another one. They're all nuts. It's the exogenous hormones and the cluster B personality disorder that accompanies trooning out almost without exception.

I saw a 18-22 yo guy with a shaved head in a dress a couple of days ago. This is the first time I ever seen a troon (if he is even a troon) here and I live in 20+ mil people megapolis.
And I only twice saw them in europe- one time there was pride bullshit parade and the other time when I was in Berlin sex club (was a wingman for my buddy).

Bit of a powerlevel, but I recently finished my senior year of high school, and I have seen more dangerhairs and queers in that one building than I have ever seen in my life. The most notable one is this skinny guy with a long ass ponytail and horrible fucking acne. One day, he just suddenly started going by some stripper name and nothing else changed, so I'm pretty sure he is in the early stages of trooning out.

Generally, most of the alphabet people there that I've talked to are decent and don't cause any trouble, but there are so many of them in one spot, it makes me wonder if it's natural or if the population of LGBT students is being artificially inflated by people who have influence over those students. If so, then god help us all.

I can't understand why they all choose fucking insane stripper names.

There are several troons where I work. This is at a school. (And I mean staff as well as students)
I wonder if any will de-transition once they enter the "real world". I remember back in the day when I was in college, there were people with bizarre tattoos in visible places, multiple facial piercings and large gage earrings- and I hardly see that level of facial piercings anymore.

I imagine if they go into IT, they will continue to troon out. I'm sure those art majors who went to school when I did might still have their facial piercings. Most of the other people probably removed them once they tried to interview.

Other workplaces don't accept body modification easily within their subcultures, even if they do on paper in their HR policies.

Work in a healthcare related facility with a lot of gay people, but no trans people from what I can tell, although we do have an appointed "spokesperson" for them in some department. It's a deep blue area, but I guess people in trenches of healthcare are more aware of the potential dangers of medications and surgeries. I remember hearing one flamboyant gay male nurse rant to his colleagues about how he thought transitioning didn't change one's gender/sex-- I was surprised he had the balls to do that, because it's just one of those topics people know NOT to talk about in public. One co-worker had a "daughter" who was originally a "son", and she name drops that occasionally. One of my co workers has "they/them" on her signature, but she's not trans at all, dresses like a woman, must be in her 50s, and she would not care if you called her a she.

The other two gay people I've worked closely with wear no rainbow attire, never mention Pride TM, but have Harry Potter merchandize on their desks. They dress normally, talk normally. The gay guy has a small lisp, but that's it. The lesbian chick has short boyish-style hair, but that's it.
