The upper kiwis understand that they are allowed privilege's and lenient law due to the fact that they themselves can have a bit of control and dignity. The lower kiwis do not understand this, they simply can not, they have lost the willingness or capability to do so. So they just have to be treated like animals. If they step out of line then you just beat them.
Some ideas I have had revolve around the thinking that the people who make up the "lower kiwis" come here because they have nowhere else to go, they get a dopamine hit from getting kiwi karma, or they find the general ease of the access appealing. The general idea is to kill these things for the lower kiwis, and make the experience of posting on this site for their purposes akin to that of an acrylic ball vice. They simply can not enjoy the privilege of being on the upper kiwi. Some of my ideas for this are as follows

1) An account with more then 50 posts in the thunderdome gets branded on their profile in some way.
2)This brand removes reactions from being visible on their account, and there are no reactions, period, on the thunderdome. If the highlight system breaks for the thunderdome due to this, so be it.
3)The brand acts as a mark for all moderation on any part of the site to treat that users under thunderdome moderation rules.
4) Any comment that boils to "yes, I agree" or "fuck you" gets a week posting ban. This includes just calling someone a wignat, kike, Nazi, nigger, etc. This can also be interpreted as the "Be civil rule".
5) Any breaking of any form of pre established rule anywhere on the site is a week long posting ban, and a thread ban if done outside of the thunderdome.
6) A&H ops that do not meet the format established by null get the user a week long posting ban.
7)Any sort of talk of doing anything irl remotely political, even saying "I went to vote for (blank)" is an immediate permeant ban
Any form of planning to do anything off site is a permanent ban.
9)Complaining about janny? well that's a banny (1 week posting)
10)Only 1 active thread for a topic at any given time, Having a >kiwis kissed by corona, and a >wuhan virus thread being an example of something that should not be. doesn't matter if its "happening".
11)There will be a 2 minute 30 seconds timer delay after a post before you can post again, maybe this will give people time to read and think.
12) Bans increase exponentially, meaning that a second offence will be 2 weeks, a third will make it a month. so on.
13) My final(for now) and perhaps most controversial idea, Jannies are a secret police, the users do not know who they are, they are removed is suspected or discovered.

To explain my thinking generally with this. This is to make the posting experience itself as annoying as possible. So lower kiwis that are problems will A) fuck off, or B)Be forced to learn to not be an animal. They will be forced to show the site a modicum of respect as payment for being allowed to leave their "ideas" here. As for the banning and inevitable socking, it doesn't really matter because 90% of people will get tired of having to make a new account every single day(maybe even the email verification on a 48 hour delay forever), or they might even shape up and learn how to function like a real person. People who have no intention of following the rules will just get banned again and again. Lastly the secret police idea, not something I'd ever come up for normal moderation, but these posters simply do not deserve moderator accountability. But again, this is just my idea. I think its the right way to go.
