Now that i think about it I don't know why more youtubers don't tap into Borge's fiction more, he wrote about such intrincate concepts. Lovecraft could definitely use a break.

It might be political sperging by me, but maybe it's because he's not anglo. Angloids have a really hard time consuming media that is not made by one of them. You can notice that all the time on Twitter, Youtube or Reddit, the only movies/series/books that are given big attention are those made by americans or british people. A shame, really, they are missing out on a lot of good stuff.

I swear most of the time you see them branch out form the anglosphere that isn't to talk about shit everyone knows about it's just to tell you what this random spic kid emulating his favorite creepypastas uploaded on TikTok, or how these two random monkeys from Africa accidentally recorded themselves drowning, or chinks/ruskies being chinks/ruskies and doing some horrible shit to one another. It's always the lamest fucking trite.

I really liked those two videos, even thought they might not fit the topic of the thread here 100%.

I didn't, because he is really trying to push the message Downpour>Homecoming, when in reality they are both bad, but I'd say that Downpour is still worse. HC is creatively bankrupt, but at least it had some interesting visuals and just copied the old stuff in times when it couldn't come up with something good. And it still had Akira Yamaoka on the soundtrack, which helped a lot. Downpour on the one hand is at least trying to do something unique, but on the other fails miserably. I'd rather have Pyramidhead where it barely belongs, than Totally-not-Pyramidhead-with-a-brick-sledgehammer where it doesn't belong at all.
