I've thought Phil was unhinged for a few years now but late into Twitch before he got banned and the YT saga he truly is gone mentally, this whole John and Howard react thing solidified it to me. He is solidly in his own bubble with his own reality where is he perfect, mature, skinny, full bearded and successful. So of course he can't adjust the mic because its not his fault because he did everything correct....

This sound issue has been a persistent problem for awhile now and every time he refuses to do anything.

He's made an excuse that he just can't get a sponsorship "right away" he'll have to go looking for one which can take weeks apparently, it's impossible to apply for some sort of sponsorship at the simple click of a button, right?

But months before the stream when he first brought it up he started this stupid narrative every version he could find was heavily edited and cut up and using doctored audio and he didn't know what was true.

I think the confusion is due to the very first version of it having been deleted from its original source so every surviving copy is a reupload of a reupload to/from questionable sources. I wasn't around back then but that's my pereception anyway.

A big part of it was for his idea of "context", likely under the belief that context will immediately make what he did completely okay, only to realise too late that he had always been a big piece of shit. I also wouldn't be surprised if he did it because he didn't want to admit that the channels that continue to host it are detractor channels and those are unedited and he will never want to give any of them credit.
