Like I've said before, furries who create and keep alive a fursona of themselves as the opposite sex have a higher likelihood of trooning out (see "How It Starts").
In fact, I was doing some recon on a few accounts and remembered the gender turbulence of popfur SmellyStrobes / spacecrinks "Strobes". For those of you who don't know, Strobes is best known for his dancing abilities and purple "space lynx" fursuit. He recently, in the past two years has fallen down the nonbinary/genderfluid trap and uses the full spectrum of binary pronouns.
Why does this matter? Dave weighed in on Strobes wanting a troon fursona. That's right, not a True & Honest female fursona, a MtF troon fursona. (I'd put money it'd be the AGP type, Strobes has those tendencies) All a part of the "Opposite sex fursona to troon" grooming pipeline:

The concept of transgender fursonas is so weird; if you're doing wish-fulfillment, why not just be the "right' gender to begin with?
That said, the FtM rat/possum fursonas with six tit-removal scars on their gross underbellies make a certain kind of sense, as far as how they're drawn. How would you draw an MtF fursona, though, unless you admit that neovaginas look weird, and are able to draw to a standard that people can tell it's not just your style?
It'd be kind of like how Westerners have a hard time clocking ladyboys, but other Thai can tell easily. To you or I, it just looks like another big-titty skunk lady, but the other skunk-morphs can tell that's totally a man, dawg.

It's a fetish, and also a way to get more social clout these days.
Trannies are the oppressed minority du jour, so who cares that fictional characters can be whatever the creators want them to be? Sure, that big-titted dickgirl could have been born with the footlong horsedick, but it nets you more oppression points if you make her originally a him and have that make precisely no difference outside of the transgender label.
Strype is a bit of an odd one out, because most AGP seem to go down the full hyperfeminine bimbo route like Zeno/Max did. Strype instead went with an incredibly masculine "female" avatar. Seriously, hide the tits and narrow the thighs just a smidge and that's a male bodybuilder shape his character got. He's the classic case of someone whose brain got rotted from the inside by staring too much at fictional characters and not enough at actual humans.

Funny you bring up Strobes, and Strype pulling the usual tactics on him. It's not the first time he's interacted with the Korps, or Strype for that matter. He's flirted with them before, seems into the idea of it, and is friendly with a number of Korps figures. That's about it though, so I wouldn't read too much into it YET. There's not direct evidence I can find that he's actually ONE of them per se. However the things he's into, and the whole genderfluid thing he has going on, combined with Strype here, (and others) fraternizing with him and encouraging fursona troonery, it's definitely plausible that Strobes could get pulled into the Korps orbit eventually. Or maybe not, it's not like the Korps is the only furry troon clique running around out there that he would get pulled into, and I've seen a lot of furries on Twitter be sort of uncomfortably Korps-adjacent without claiming to be a part of it themselves. That and having someone with as much pull as Strobes (with 45k Twatter followers, as opposed to Dave's 28k) advertising the Korps would reach a wider audience and be a feather in the Korps' hat.

From what I've observed, I highly doubt Strobes would ever elect to get an axe wound. I even think he's less likely than you're average AGP to take hormones. Instead all I see is a very confused hyperbisexual man.
That leads to speculation as to if he did join the Korps, would they accept someone who has no intention to troon out, just for the purpose of expanding their reach? I have a hard time seeing that anyone who doesn't at least take some steps to mutilate their body (starting with at least bathtub hormones all the way up to genital mutilation) being accepted into the Korps.

I haven't been around this thread as the average lurker so I may be missing some info, but from what I can tell they only kind of dick allowed in the Korps is "girl-dick" (see: atrophied penis via Estrogen). That being said, are there any FtMs who have joined the cult?

This little incident with Strobes, I didn't post about it last year because it was barely a blip on my cow radar, but I did take note of it. Funny how these things have a habit of coming around. As far as I'm concerned he's not really a lolcow right now any more than any other horny popufur, he doesn't really produce drama or milk. And yes, I agree Strobes is a very typical horny bisexual dude who's common in the furry fandom. The weird genderbending sort of thing he does with his fursuit/fursona arises from that.
They don't actually have any particular standards per se for joining beyond "Be a typical extremely online hyper progressive furry into hypno fetish stuff" and while they keep a relatively tight ship on who they let into their Discord, they don't seem to actively enforce who is allowed to use their symbols or write their own stories in the transgender supervillain fictional setting that the whole thing stems from. However their demographics are skewed ridiculously towards male and MtF individuals for obvious reasons, but there are a few token FtMs among their ranks that I've observed. At least one FtM was mentioned earlier in the thread. You say you aren't as familiar with the thread and the "story so far", it's a pretty good read, there are some real choice specimens among this crowd. We managed to dig into the history of their origins quite a bit, and at one point one of them even joined in the thread themselves. Not much came of that incident in terms of drama, but it was amusing nonetheless. It's been quite awhile since I've gone through it from the beginning so I don't recall exactly what pages everything happened on.

I don't think I've seen much, if any at all, FtM's who are into hypnosis at all. That, and Strype seems to typically target MtF's or men who are easily groomed into being MtF's.
