If she made the whole trip without stopping, it would have to be in a Tesla Roadster. I think that's the only EV on the market right now that can do 500+ miles without a recharge. The base model is $50k which needs to be paid by wire transfer within 10 days of ordering.

Roadster doesn't exist anymore and was shit compared to what they're putting out now. I think they're making another one soon. It's either a Model S or a high-skew Y (the 3 might come in a battery big enough, idk)

You're paying an extra 20k for Tesla to change a software variable so the hardware you 'bought' can be used to it's potential. Though if there is a hurricane coming they might temporarily 'unlock' the extra 20% range increase so you can live long enough to get milked again after the batteries spontaneously explode and you buy a new Tesla.

Poking around on their site and there are 2 vehicles within a hundred miles of me. Both are used, Model X (the SUV), and over 100k.

Edit again: Model S top range is 400 miles. One battery pack, the more expensive one is slightly lower range because it has different motors. Model X was the only contender for higher in my mind (more place for batteries) and only gets 350 miles. Same situation with the skews, same battery different motor, more expensive one is faster and shorter range.
