Movie night has a chat built in with the site we use.

Chat is extremely dumb because it’s typical user is a doomer just there to whine about being a doomer. It would literally be less gay if people stopped to just say “have a great day” to each other.

The chat is pretty broken so it's frustrating to use. The pop up windows for inserting media veer off the page on mobile and disappear into the frames on desktop.

The beauty parlor chat is often intelligible because they'd all be watching a stream offsite and making responses out of context here. I wish it was possible to freeze a video to the top of chat if it's the current topic of discussion (kinda like movie night chat). All BP chat users seemingly know each other so there is just zero discussion or thought diversity. Most responses are just a-logging.

The movie night chats are usually a little sparse. Nothing worth engaging in. I haven't seen anything worth watching during these so I just ignore them.

I only like the general and autistic shitspigots one because of the random things people post so it's fun conversation. The random chats Null adds are the funnest ones to engage in.

Speaking of Null, he uses chat sometimes to quickly answer people's questions or vent. He has also used the chat function for some of his MATI streams.

Overall, the chat function is just dead in the water. Nothing can be done besides improving the technical aspect of it. Users who post content of value are going to prefer the forum.
