I've seen this wayyy to many times in published stuff and fanfiction, where the epic Woman of Color mean to teach everyone about racism and privilege ends up destroying businesses, putting people out of work, and killing and/or maiming the actual competent (white) characters and put people at risk.
Better still when it's black or brown people doing it. That candid, lizard brain admission that all they do is wreck shit always and forever sends me to the moon.

I wanted to find out more about this "Dead Magic" series that consists of a single book from three years ago but I found something even more troubling thanks to the website that compiles trigger warnings for all books. Ashia wrote an entire book full of people that she doesn't identify as:
