This is a natural consequence of the glow in the darks being convinced to treat all Right Wing groups, no matter how small, as a potential terror threat, which has been going on since at least what, the 90s? Meanwhile they're openly permissive of left wing terror cells like Rose City Antifa. (Bonus for actively trying to incite terrorism in the former to justify their preconceived notions, while actively ignoring the terrorism from the latter.)
I have no idea if Trump can even do a purge of the FBI to get rid of this taint. It really does feel like we're moving into a new stage of the country, where the Uniparty, especially the Democratic side of it, are openly stating that no, we're in charge and your quaint little "voting" thing won't save you if we catch you disagreeing with us.
Barring some kind of megaton revelation causing a seismic shift in American politics, this will NEVER happen. It would take the FBI being publicly outed as trying to assassinate Trump or something similar, and even then, he'd just be allowed to "reform" it, if he asks Pelosi and Schumer very politely and only does reforms they approve of, while also giving them a few billion in pork.
Lets not forget that Pelosi was actively trying to steal access to the nuclear football during Trump's era. Not "cut him off from using it." No, "get access to it herself." The only reason she could have to want access for herself is so she could nuke someone, which Trump would take the blame for. So, what was it? False flag? Get us into a war? Drop one on Florida while Trump was at Mar-a-Lago? I don't know if things have calmed down since then, certainly doesn't feel like it, but they were already openly plotting treason because "it was her turn" and "the founding fathers never envisioned a world in which the Democrats could lose an election they had called dibs on."
If Trump wanted to really cause some chaos if he's allowed to run and allowed to win in 2024, he could set up a special prosecutor to go after Epstein's clients. He could cancel the emergency order that created the FBI (which might just nuke them from orbit?). But all that would do is what you're already seeing with Gun Violence the past few weeks -- the press would suddenly cover everything with baited breath, claiming that it's all Trump's fault for taking away the Glow in the Dark's toys.

I saw a few polls that asked a peculiar question, one that I did not think would even be allowed to be said by anybody prominent, much less asked by polling agencies, and the question was, "Do you think the FBI is functioning as the secret police for democrats?" and its plurality to majority support every time I've seen it asked. Maybe that's why I haven't seen it polled in a while?
Edit: It was even worse than I remember, Rassmussen asked if the FBI was the democrat's GESTAPO...
That was last January, what do you think it is now? It is so obvious. The purpose of January 6 is to punish political opponents and set up field offices all over the country to spy on the DNC's political enemies. Even a blind man could see this. Right now the January 6 people have hired ABC propagandists to really glitz and glam this up to keep that power and also help salvage the midterms. I can't wait to see what the committee's recommendations are. More vote rigging, more spying, red flag laws, more money to combat "domestic terrorism," etc. The DOJ and FBI are the KGB for a guy who can't spell KGB. No mean tweets, though.

Brooks is probably the most conservative candidate choice, but he's also stupid enough to shittalk Trump and trying to say "let's move on from 2020." It doesn't help that he was half assing his campaign to the point Trump rescinded his endorsement and will likely back Britt. Britt's more opportunistic and likely has more baggage but this is the voice of the populist, I don't care if you're 98% in favor of what I want if you don't fight for it, I'll gladly take the person who fights hard for 70% of what I want instead. It's why people gravitated to Trump in the first place.

61% of independents disapprove with only 25% approving.
And correct me if I'm wrong but Quinnipiac is a left-leaning polling outfit, potentially skewing that total approval rating higher than it is in reality.

After it became too obvious Quinnipiac had been pulling their numbers out of a fucking hat they've been trying to reorient hard in the other direction. It's still untrustworthy, I think. Just untrustworthy in a much less obvious way.
