Well this came outta nowhere. Kind of.

Opal has released a video on the whole PatchworkHeart situation. I'm leaving an mp4 here in case it gets taken down or some shit.

I barely caught the end of the premiere, I don't know that Kiwifarms is ever mentioned, but several of the gossip blogs, Lizzy, and Tgt are. This video will likely never be directly addressed by Lily, at best she will vaguely allude to it. But it's out there, as it ought to be.

She's still going on about the dub vs sub thing? She's more stubborn than any weeb I've ever seen.

It honestly tells more about her than anything else could.

Oh God, you've really hit on something: what media does Lily consume? Like, what, in total, has she consumed? And I'm not limiting this to just cartoons or movies, but I'm also including games, books, and music.

Does Lily just sit in her room, crying about lesbians like a Dobson who can't draw? Only occasionally watching things, maybe never trying new games outside of WoW and KH2?

There's a lot to say about dubs and Japanese culture, but it's sad that she seems to only consume only a few core things.

I wondered how it must have felt, for her, to have made it to 30, and never had life experiences anywhere other than her high school. Now I think she's also never consumed any different media since high school either.
Dunno which stream that was again, but there was one where she said she watched most of the popular shows. As examples she counted Breaking bad, Game of Thrones, Stranger things, Bojack Horseman, but not Squid Games, because in her words it looked boring. In my opinion the dub sucked too hard even for her. (TBH I believe her, because she has more than enough time on her hands and no social life - what else will she do all day? Masturbating to Pokemon kills just this much time in a day)

She then went on that the reason she doesn't talk about them is because she doesn't have anything about them to say. Likefor Bojack she said it's good, but literally can't say anything else about it because it didn't make her feel, and she can't talk about something that doesn't invoke feelings in her.

Her media viewing really is that shallow. I mean, she gave TGAMM and Encanto a 10/10 rating specificaly because they made her cwy.

Personally I think Lily is this emotionally stunted, she cannot watch and enjoy media if said media isn't treating her like a three year old and it is directly telling her how she's about to feel about a certain scene. Or there isthings she knows how she feels about, like underage lesbians, and sees only what she wants to see.
It has been brought up by a lot of people by now, who were wondering whether or not Lily even watches the shows she talks about, because she's missing, cruicial and extremely basic information from it.
She is incapable of thinking, or feeling on her own.

She's retarded in every sense of the word.

Shiloh has been wanting to make a video and proper statement for a while, but was too scared. They made the script, gave them a few very minor corrections, they recorded the audio, I edited it, and am hosting it on my channel.

Shiloh is a friend of mine, and I hope this video brings them some kind of closure.

The Google Drive was passed around a shit ton with no one really knowing the timeline well and so making a streamline video was the best way of doing it.

Lily asks her friends to send lewd anons. Why am I not surprised? She never asked me that, but now I'm wondering who else she might have asked...

Also the way Lily ended her friendships back then is still the same today: block everywhere out of nowhere without a word or explanation. Disgusting imo.

Pretty sure there was a comic where Lily said that the Mating Bond essentially merged their minds and personalities together, so Lily should have already known about this particular detail. If it wasn’t being heavily retconned, of course.

Also, amazing how Lily is forcing her wife to bond her mind and personality with some random fat Gardivor just to appease her Pokémon fuckpet. Doesn’t make you like you think of your wife as a tool at all, Lily. No sir’ee.

I don't. She name-drops the 'popular stuff' even though they're all shows that she wouldn't enjoy watching as though she just wants to say she's tooootally part of the cultural zeitgeist but she just didn't have a reason to talk about them. She decided to watch eight seasons of Game of Thrones without feeling any emotional attachment to it? And didn't feel a need after it was done to make fun of everybody who was upset? Just doesn't track.

Especially Bojack Horseman. Lizzy tried to introduce her to that one and she said it was utterly miserable and a huge red flag about Lizzy's true, abusive nature. No way she'd go back and watch Bojack. But it's easy to say "It was good but I've got nothing to say about it" and trust me bro, I watched it, don't expect me to say anything meaningful.

Thing is... it doesn't matter if she's watched the popular things. It just matters that she's watched enough different shows to have a legitimate perspective. As said, she has such a limited pool of reference that she always goes back to comparing things to the exact same set of fixations. A cartoon reviewer -- an animation buff -- should have a broad scope of reference. But she only ever really talks about things in reference to Kingdom Hearts and Star Wars and World of Warcraft, barely mentions Avatar except to snark at people for trying to 'do what Avatar did', and her only point of reference for bad media is Steven Universe. She only ever talked about Kim Possible during that period where she was trying to attract the attention of ILoveKPALot and other than styling her Avatar so badly off of KP that I didn't even recognize it until it was pointed out here has never brought it up in any meaningful capacity, almost like she didn't really watch it.

I don't are if she's watched Breaking Bad. Nobody cares. The point is that her perspective is so limited and so redundant that of course people are going to ask "Have you ever watched anything else, ever?" It's not literally a statement that she's never watched anything else, but her pool of reference is so shallow it certainly feels that way. She has no real curiosity, no desire to expand her horizons, but expects to be taken seriously as a reviewer, critic, and writer.

Very much so. This is why her writing advice about 'show don't tell' is always about how showing is overrated and you should make sure to tell the audience what they should be feeling. I legitimately think this is part of her autism and she honestly can't grok emotional cues if they aren't explained, but that's an explanation, not an excuse. She plain refuses to even try and just expects everybody else to do the work and it's there fault if she's incapable of figuring things out so I really have no sympathy.

The way of Liliana to view media is she chose two or three shows/media she likes and then spends the rest of her time whining about how everything else fails to be like those two or three pieces of media. No need to look further to prove this point than her obssesion to compare every videogame ever to Kingdom Hearts and how they pale in comparison.

They do bring up how the art was leaked here, in a matter suggesting they did not appreciate it (i.e. we sparked harassment against them).
Any Cardcaptors fans want to verify what she's talking about?

I mean, to be fair, we did sort of bring it out to the public eyes something they would probably just want to forget.

A girl had a crush on their teacher. That’s the full context and Lily is drastically over exaggerating what happens. It was a simple crush that never went farther.

Isn't something Lily never over exaggerating anything?
Always, man. Always. We need to give her a point? No.

Wow.
I've just been lurking on this thread til now.
But, fuck you Asshole.
Cardcaptor Sakura is one the most wholesome magical girl series ever.
You have to be truly something special (in worst way) to twist that series into something awful like that.

But to not clutter the thread with a shit post, that kind of answer right there is why so many people have a problem with you, Jerry.
Instead of simply saying: "I don't like this." You feed the need to tear down and sully it so that anyone else who likes clearly must be stupid or a pervert or whatever.

When your own works reek of far more foul implications.

I think little Jerry, may have bitten off more than he can chew in trying to attack the sub fans and now the Cardcaptor Sakura fans. I'm going to enjoy the slapfights that may ensue from this.

Him digging his heels in for trashing this will be interesting. If anything comes of it...most likely not though...😔

Edit: can't quote you, steel heart but, that one is a bit more than that.

At the end of that episode the teacher give her a ring, it's meant to be an engagement ring, he loves her and wants to marry her, when she's of age.
It's definitely meant to be sweet. Considering that it was a manga for young/teenage girls.

She's digging her heels in for literally no gain.

It's just a matter of preference but she has reduced it to an ideological dichotomy for no fucking reason. It's a waste of energy. And she's arguing with thin air, she keeps getting these "weebs say" asks, who the fuck cares what weebs say? You don't even like anime. If you need people to keep handing you these arguments so you can adjust your position, your position is weak.

In the anime the girl only had a crush on the teacher.

On the manga (not comic, those different things) the girl, that is the same age as Sakura, actually has a relationship with said teacher and he gave her a engagement ring at some point. Sakura thinks that is very romantic because that is basically the same story that happened between her parents. Her mom was underage when she was pregnant of her older brother if memory serves me right.

Liliana is right that the manga and the anime are vastly different from one another. She's completely wrong on atributing it to the superiority of localization or even that anyone wanted the anime to be more faithful to it's most problematic aspects. The people who enjoyed the manga first before the anime are perfectly okay with the changes being made.

The ethnocentrism jumped out with "multicultural nations totally understand children and what they want, it's those monocultural ones that don't!", plus her general ignorance of how many times "multicultural" companies have cut out properties that kids loved (Teen Titans Go, Young Justice, among others) to push others they didn't cared as much about.

Also more instances of her refusing to understand people could appreciate Japan, it's culture and language without making it into a sexual fetish. Projection much?

ANGLOPHONE PRIVILEGE IS LITERALLY BEING IGNORANT OF HOW TRANSLATION WORKS, DISMISSIVE OF CULTURAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN COUNTRIES, ASSUMING THAT THE VISION CLOSEST TO THE DIRECTORIAL INTENT IS USELESS AND EVERYONE THAT CARES ABOUT CONSUMING ORIGINAL CONTENT FROM OTHER COUNTRIES IS A "WEEB" OR A "LOSER" BUT LET'S LISTEN TO THE NORTH AMERICAN SPEWING BULLSHIT ABOUT THINGS SHE'S PROUD OF BEING IGNORANT ABOUT

Man, this video is hard to watch. It confirms a lot of what we’ve though about Lily(the anon asks, the fetishes, ect), but Patch sounds really affected by what Lily put them through and it’s hard to listen to.
