just a reminder that he used to "host" whichever channel was streaming the game announcements, and would sit in his chat acking with his tards, then he'd come back and literally describe every trailer

he has had multiple meltdowns (today) over possible copyright takedowns cause he won't make $3.68 in ad revenue next month, and trying to ack over the music so the bots don't pick it up as easily, but the rock is a sell out guys, atleast the rock isn't selling out for literal pennies

I'm watching this guy "react" to these press conferences and it reminded me of all the times he refused to do live reactions to gaming events like E3 for... reasons? The following clips are from 2019 alone:
Forgive me if I'm late breaking down this one.


Example 1:

"There is zero value in me watching [E3 press conferences] live because I don't overreact to everything to get a cheap reaction"..."It's the cheapest lowest form of content creation it's meant solely to get money"


Example 2:

This one is ironic because it is during the 'retrospective event' which was really the beginning of DSP react content which will probably be his only content once he gives up on gayming.


Example 3:

DSP literally admitted in 2019 if he wanted to make "maximum money" he would be doing live reactions to events like E3. Past Dave is literally future Dave's worst enemy. He explains that if he were, it would be evidence of him "trying to maximize making money" bruh.


Example 4:

"I don't want to degrade myself" by covering E3 the way other people cover it (live reactions). This clip is amazing. The guy starts off by saying how "back in the day" he was so set in his ways, and didn't listen to feedback, and goes on to explain how he covers E3 how he wants to cover it and has explained this multiple times, and to CHANGE how he covers it, would "degrade him". Fast forward 3 years and he has done just that. I'm sure he would say "old phil" should have listened to the fans back in 2019.


I'm sure there are many more examples but this is what I've been able to dig up so far today. Remember, DSP himself is recognizing that this behavior is "selling out" and money maxxing. It's so fucking transparent I can't believe he memory holed this shit only 3 years later.

Everyday detractor video producers, if you have time please juxtapose these clips with the lunacy displayed by Dave today. This hypocrisy deserves to be remembered in the halls of dtractor YouTube.

I never heard of Flashback, but I'm not such a retard I see a side-scrolling thing with a dude with a gun and think "Alone in the Dark." Dude, Alone in the Dark had very little and bad combat, it was more about running for your life and other shit.

I think Alone in the Dark and Flashback were the same year. Both were pushed really hard at the time as this big new thing of "cinematic gaming". And where Alone in the Dark went on to bridge the gap between Adventure games, into what we called Survival Horror. Until RE4 changed that. Flashback just kinda inspired Abe's Odyssey and then the genre petered off.

So if I had to translate pigese, he just remembered people talking about the two in the same breath once or twice. Which wasn't uncommon.
