Steam groups can be annoying because if someone is doing something on it, it can ping you with alerts.

This is the main reason to not join Steam groups for me. I used to "accept and forget" for a long time but after some bad experiences with alerts I avoid groups like the plague.

On one hand I can understand flam for adding random people as friends if he started after he was streaming alot, he could justify it as a way of 'engaging' with his audience. Fostering the para-social relationships with himself and his viewers. But the fact that he had a ton of friends but only 6 or so groups is really suspicious. He wasn't joining groups willy-nilly, and I find it highly unlikey he wouldn't atleast check the group page after clicking join.

If it's juvenile records, it's pretty much sealed. There would be probably nothing legal you could do to get it. I suppose a really unscrupulous PI could get it, although I doubt it would be by legal means.

This whole Sealed Document thing rings weird to me. I've never heard of a civil case being sealed, even if there is a minor involved. I've only ever heard of criminal cases against minors being sealed. So wouldn't that mean Faggotmenco was indeed arrested, charged, and convicted of something? If it was some kind of stupid civil thing, it wouldn't be a big deal to talk about. Since it involves his cousin and whatever is also suspect. Did Fagmenco get kicked out of school? Did the SRO arrest him at school or on the bus? He did something since the case would be against a minor which is why it was sealed.

What if its about a 20 year old getting into a fist fight with his 17 year old cousin? What happens if it were to go to court because people were angry but the family decides to drop it mid court battle or just shortly after they were due for court by creating an acquittal situation or some sort of no contest clause so the case never had a conclusive verdict?
