Meerkat is alright. He's a little bland for me. Low energy and kind of generic talking points, but I don't dislike him.
An1337 might be my restreamer of choice. He just comes off as genuine. It'd be nice to see him kind of go unfiltered, but I get why he doesn't as it'd make him a bit of a hypocrite. I think he lets Phail affect him too much. He doesn't do well with being able to step back and just laugh. He lets Phail piss him off. Which, I mean, is normal. Phail is fucking INSUFFERABLE. But once he starts actually pissing you off and you have real hatred for him, you gotta remove yourself from the situation and just watch with a detached view on it.
Snort is good people. He's been around for a long ass time and he's dedicated to capturing the shittiest behavior that Phail exhibits.
PoP is my second go to. I like how he just kind of doesn't give a fuck and will tell Phail to kill himself. Some vitriol is nice (Supercrzy takes it way too far) and just calling Phail a faggot when he's being one, which is all the time. Steve is good for a post mortem analysis and he does bring a lot of actual concepts to the table and he tries to educate people, which is pretty cool.
The thing I find sets Pop and An apart is they refuse to monetize and will actively decline any kind of donation. I'll see people ask for their information to donate and they just flat out say they don't take donations and if people want to support the channel is to participate in chat and watch the stream. You don't see that often and I applaud that.
I never got into Proper so I don't know much about them.
LSB thought he could break away like Tevin did, but he doesn't have the charisma or the ability to hold an audience like Tevin does. He always came off as disingenuous and kind of an asshole who's in it for clout. Which ... is sad. DSP is right about some detractors riding his coattails. Some like LSB actually did do that.
CallOfDoody is ... alright, I guess. He's quick to ban people and he's kind of draconian with his rules. Which makes him kind of like Phail. You can't shit on Phail for something then turn around and emulate some of what he does. Doody seems to do that. I don't dislike him, but if another restreamer is going, I'll pick them over Doody. He's just not strong enough to carry an audience. I will say though when he has nothing to add, he just shuts the fuck up and doesn't try to come up with a gay fucking dig like a lot of streamers do.
The Outsyder has to be my favorite TIHYDP creator though. His shit is always top tier and I'm always stoked to see when he comes out with stuff. His Silent Hill 2 TIHYDP is about as good as it comes. I'm really hoping he does an Elden Ring. I didn't bother to watch any of the shitty ones that came out when Phail was still playing it.
