Speaking of Lizzo, looks like she finally snagged herself a man. Guess she finally got over Chris Evans.

It still pales in comparison to the junk food and fast food industry and how they make their food as addictive as possible.

There was a period in the 90s where the crisis was addressed, but it was a flash in the pan. From a business perspective, fat people make too much money for too many different industries.

It's gotten way worse, but nobody gives a f*ck about junk food when the economy is on their minds. The news doesn't cover that sort of thing. (Most of their sponsors make money off of it.)

Okay, what the hell does “trend” mean here?
It means that people are creating videos using a specific audio and following a specific format. By pointing out it's a "trend" she's saying she didn't create the video to fish for compliments nor taking credit for the video concept.
E.g. We've seen her original video, but here are other people's takes on the same idea:

And now for context, here's Rosey's normal, original content:

Oh Bekah. Did you know, you can be queer and normal weight too? No need to destroy your body more.
You can even be queer and wear a properly fitted bra!*

*Unless you're really, really set on cosplaying two melons at the bottom of an old lady's string shopping bag.
Fucksake, Bek.

Just a reminder Roseybeeme is the one with the extremely gay husband:

Imagine being a beard for this fat bald faggot manlet.

Also, most people truly serious about losing weight know that most of the diet industry is a scam and real healthy eating and fitness is not expensive at all if you know what you are doing. Infact, eating less and ordering out less means less food to buy and more money for better quality stuff with more nutritional value. You don't need special "diet" food, fresh, local, fruit, veggies and meat is mostly what you need. Of course, these people's tastebuds are extremely fucked up and have a hard time eating anything else unless it has a lot of sugar and salt.
They have a gotcha for that too: they all have 'a background of restrictive eating in the past/have problems eating enough'. Who claims this?

Well yeah. No rich person is a deathfat, so it might as well not exist to the media. You can't buy chanel in a size 16.

Some good vibes for once.

So Yahoo published an opinion piece by some fat activist called Kerry Justich. In it she attacked Sydney Sweeny's audacity to wear revealing clothing as a thin person (GASP!) as it's apparently a threat to body positivity. The article is your typical fat activist mantra of how body positivity is only for marginalized bodies (fat people). Talks about how Sweeny's choice of outfit is glorifying anorexia and that if the low rise fashion trend from the 2000s returned the body positivity movement would be destroyed (lol what?).

Nothing out of the ordinary for people in tune with the fat activist community.

The real fun is how twitter reacted to it. Let's just say they were not impressed. The article got ratioed hard with people of all backgrounds mocking the fat activist logic in the piece. Lots of people calling her insecure, bitter and telling her to go to therapy. Even worse for people like Mariassa Matthews you had a lot of folks saying body positivity is for all people and all bodies, not just fat people. No one was buying the fat activist tenant that thin = eating disorder/bad and fat = body positive.

Just goes to show you what happens when fat activists try to sell their ideology among the wider public and not only within their online bubbles. Even with as fat everyone is these days and on a platform filled with progressives people still aren't buying their shit.

I really think FA is going to meet the same fate that the trans craze is starting to reach. Eventually, you're going to push so hard for such ridiculous shit that no one but the staunchest of staunch in-group fawners are going to cater to you - which in reality does nothing and just makes you feel good on the internet because you're getting asspats - and you're going to drive away the normal lefties that want to focus on things that actually matter, like healthcare and reproductive rights.

They've gotten a taste of what they perceive as power and validation on the internet, then lose their fucking minds when they have to go out in the real world and nobody, even the chick with the Bernie bumper sticker or the white guy with dreads, gives a shit about their pronouns or their Fat Bitch shirt. Partially because the vast majority of people understand that these are entirely made-up problems, partially because they're so goddamn toxic and abrasive that nobody will want to align themselves with them, either publicly or privately. It'll be really interesting to watch the public tide turn in the next few years. I look forward to many meltdowns.
