We could be here for days on tactics sperging but the biggest take away is this: "their training is 100% based around assault on positions". If they really did fear for their safety and anticipate the Tranch being attacked they would be putting all of the money and time spent on tacticool gizmos and "move to contact" drills into building defensive fighting positions and training to break contact and move to those defensive positions. It's been established a thousand times over that Phil and co. are larping hard but they could at least larp in a way that prepares them for the most likely engagement they'll face.
If they were preparing for the most likely engagement they would face, it would mean bathing more.

I've had the pleasure of watching a PMC establish a kill box and defensive perimeter in a civilian area. You have like 7 dudes taking measurements, noting cover, and in one case reinforcing a fucking ticket booth to be about as bullet proof as you could get. Cameras all over the place. A armored vehicle hidden in plain sight. One had me walk them through the backroads to see if it would be possible to move a vehicle through.

I spoke to one of the guys because our cars were parked downhill from those ticket booths if we needed to move them. He said the whole idea was that they would move into shit cover that had cameras on them and that there were 8 ways to approach that parking lot. That that parking lot was the first place anyone would go when arriving on the one road in, unless they planned to cross a spike strip under fire.

The whole thing relied on the people arriving getting blown the fuck out and being at a massive disadvantage tactically and equipment wise. I'm sure there was more I didn't fucking know about. But compare this shit to the tranch and you get the picture. Playing defense is playing on the backfoot so you need every advantage you can get. Posting your larps online is not a good way to maintain the advantage. What does training matter if all of you take up a defensive position behind a barricade they know exactly where to approach to fuck it up?

OPSEC is king. That being said the threat to the tranch of an armed assault force is a fantasy so wargaming is superfluous, besides, they would get crushed by a competent force defenses or not.

The bit where Penny says “we’re ready for engagement at any hour. We have our, uh, we have our vests” never fails to crack me up.

No idea what the driving footage is about (Earl?) but it really adds to the feel. Fantastic work.
Yeah it's scenes from "My Name is Earl". I had the idea for a fake trailer but I couldn't figure out how to make it work because deepfaking is too much effort and just motion tracking a photoshopped face onto a body would look stupid. Then I remembered the "die very rough" edit of Sam Hyde driving the truck and the concept of stitching together driving scenes to make it feel coherent suddenly popped into my head, so I went ahead and added Sam Hyde too because there's also footage of him shooting guns.

If the Nazi militia was a credible threat, they'd just have taken shots at the propane tank sitting outside.

Unless they're hitting it with a rocket launcher, just shooting a propane tank with bullets ain't gonna cause an explosion

I could be wrong and way overthinking this, but there's a possibility that Penny is up to a new scam. Need feedback, please!

15 hours ago, Penny tweeted about a GoFundMe campaign for a black trans kid in Arlington, Texas. He also retweeted it from the Tranch account.

Charity Jelani is organizing this fundraiser.

Hi guys. Thanks for stopping by. This is a single mom's request for the best interest and protection of her queer kid.

I'm a black single mom from Arlington, Texas. After much consideration and protection of my kid, Ivory, I have set up this crowdfunding. It is old news that Texas has gradually become a very unsafe place for transgender kids. Ivory is a transgender teen who has been through a lot already, losing her dad at a younger age and trying to figure out her body while going through social pressure and discrimination in school. Sometimes she's been harassed by folks from school and around the neighborhood, with this happening more frequently lately. It's a lot to take in as a kid, plus the gender dysphoria has made Ivory more of a depressed kid, and the government hasn't made it any easier for us either. We've had to keep all of this very low for a while, but the longer we do, the more it weighs on her, which is why this crowdfunding. It would mean everything for Ivory to continue her gender-affirming care, but for her safety, we would need help relocating out of the state to receive as much care and attention she needs to be herself in the body she is more comfortable with. Frankly, I'm not financially buoyant to cover all these costs, so we hope you'll be willing to support us. It's a plus if you're also able to share our page for visibility.

I am proud of my kid, and I hope for her to grow in a safe place where she can be proud of who she is too.

This feels very strange to me. The Tranch is broke and has been severely neglecting their own grift GFMs, so why is Penny tweeting about this? At least with the Oglala Lakota situation, there was at least some plausibility that he had a personal friend among the tribe and they decided to grift together, but how does Penny know this random black family in Texas?

Even more strange, I cannot find the source for this GFM campaign. If you do a twitter search for this GFM, Penny is the only person who has tweeted about it. Where are the people responsible for setting it up? This "Charity Jelani" person? I can't find anything about them on the Internet. Maybe I'm just bad at searching, but I really can't find anything.

Here are all of the donations so far. Notice that the first donation was 13 hours ago, which is after Penny tweeted about the GFM (15 hours ago).
So this GFM and the organizer seemingly have no Internet presence and had no donations until Penny tweeted about them. Where did he hear about them exactly?

Also, I've tried to reverse image search the GFM picture, but nothing turns up for that either.

I don't want to claim that Penny is scamming and that this is totally fake, but I'm certainly suspicious. "Black trans kid trying to escape bigoted, anti-trans Texas" hits all the right notes for a scam, especially with it being so light on details. I'm mainly confused on why I can't find the organizer of the GFM on social media. Wouldn't they at least tweet about it on their own account?

You’re right to be suspicious, given the case history. And this definitely needs a bit more explanation.

I’m inclined to believe it’s legit for one reason only, they don’t seem to be troubled for money at the moment so why bother with an elaborate scam.

Possible reason for Penny to be spearheading it is that someone has put the single mum in touch with him (as a notable tranny fundraiser) via email / Instagram / whatever and he’s simply doing it as a good turn and for virtue points.

I definitely agree, this smells of scam all over. Usually people who are hosting actual GFMs will be a little more specific about what exactly the money they're asking for is going toward. For these tranny-kid fundraisers, they often say that the money will go toward doctor's visits, hormone treatments, surgeries, etc. The most the description here says is this: "It would mean everything for Ivory to continue her gender-affirming care, but for her safety, we would need help relocating out of the state to receive as much care and attention she needs to be herself in the body she is more comfortable with." Super vague, not a great start. What the hell does "gender-affirming care" mean, and why do you need $7k for it? Also, what's the plan beyond "relocating out of the state"? Where are you going? Are you hiring movers or paying a security deposit for a new place? Including explanations and smaller details like that makes a GFM actually sound legit and not just like "Give us free money because reasons."

Here's my take on this: this is a single mom just trying to move out of state and using every available excuse she can find to make people want to pay for it. Maybe the kid is trans so she's using that, or it's a complete fraud and the kid isn't trans at all.

Just one last thing before I'm done: this pic that they're using is weird as hell. I don't doubt that this is an original pic (which would explain that no results on image search) but why use THIS one? Where the hell is his? It looks like it was taken in a shopping mall shortly before closing near a stairwell. Just why?

I've never known someone with money to turn down more money, especially when all you need to do is make a GFM about a black trans kid. The phrasing of the GFM is odd to me, as it's grammatically incorrect in a few places, though that may not mean anything, is there an AI program it can be ran through and compared with some of Penny's writing?

I can’t find anything on Charity Jelani either.

The kid in the pic has a feminine face and breasts (I don’t mean to sound perverted) but mom describes her with she/her pronouns.

This kid looks like a real female, but if she was FtM this supportive trans ally mom would use he/him pronouns. If she was MtF she wouldn’t have feminine features and breasts. A pro troon mom wouldn’t misgender her kid.

Edited because I’m illiterate.

Hmmmmm "Charity Jelani" sounds like someone threw two black-sounding names together. Jelani is a black male first name. I don't think it is used as a surname commonly, or maybe not at all. Like everyone else, I can't find any evidence of that any such person exists.

TBF Penny is an illiterate mongoloid, but comparing his mistakes to the campaign is a great idea.
Hey, wasn't one of last of the serfs to leave in hurry a black translady, the one that ended up nuking her Twitter account, like I mean she was a TiM I believe. That might be a pic of her if this a scam.
This would have to be her at a young age since she was already taller and wider.

The shirt the kid is wearing strongly resembles a line of designer shirts being sold in London.
I was thinking that there's something not American about the photo, it may be the tshirt. But, it definitely is a weirdly European looking photo

edit so as not to double post. I found a deviant art character name Ivory Jelani that is a short haired young black girl. It's created by a 15 year old Indian girl whose family moved to the US and is posting pride stuff.
https://www.deviantart.com/princessofindia12/art/Ivory-Jelani-Character-Profile-879824987 possibly nothing of course but the gofundme could be esl and the character could reasonably be thought to look like the photo etc.
