Maybe it's just an accident of AF being so over the top flaming homosexual, not coming out of the closet and documenting all of it on streams week after week then all but handing that to Ashton with gift wrapping and timestamps that made it seem like PPP is about hard truths rather than cheap shots delivered with a barely concealed laugh

I think you hit on the right point: it's not that there's ethics in a-logging or any real moral concern, but more that if anyone can say anything without reason, the content quickly devolves into spergs pointing at each other and hollering whatever comes to mind; it actively ruins the product if they don't base their views in reality, because that's simply not interesting or substantial. It's Jerry Springer-tier entertainment without the humour of watching them flail at each other.

This sort of take downs by any means attitude was one of the major factors in the IBS implosion. They got so gassed up on the legitimate takedowns, when the well eventually ran dry they started grasping at straws and jumping the gun, coming off like desperate spastics.

Also, acting like anyone who watches lolcows or IBS should just have no standards is a new one to me. Watching autistic slap fights and karma finally catch up with Ralph is fun to me.
