If they're demanding government action, they're not oppressed. They might be discriminated against by certain elements of the population, but the government is the highest instance of power in any system. Oppression flows down from it. So any group in a position to authoritatively call for government action like troons do cannot claim oppression.
Look at the civil rights era: by and large those groups weren't calling for government action against their enemies. Sure, "stop discrimination" was part of their platform, but they more often than not went about it by demanding to be treated like everybody else, so protective laws already in place would affect them.
Trannies, on the other hand, came right out of the gate demanding the government silence, incarcerate or sometimes even execute their detractors. That's not the language or attitude of an oppressed minority, it's the call from someone already in power desperate to cling to it.
