Yeah, be nice for Vettel and Alonso to out-Q Ham. That will make the moaning from Ham post-session much better!

I think he is especially suited to street circuits especially in the low speed corners. Looks in Red Bull has set up their car for race day, I'm very excited. Between their speed and a better strategy team they're right where they want to be. I'm a huge Max fan but I love seeing Checo compete too. May the best driver win!Checo just owning Red Bull at the moment
Agreed! If we can have 3 drivers fighting for the win its great, if Carlos can close up that will make really great!I think he is especially suited to street circuits especially in the low speed corners. The Coors car was such a classic look too. A lot of great drivers from that era but there was something so cool about someone putting it in the 210s; I don't watch too much modern NASCAR but I do like Chase a lot.And nice avatar too man! I remember watching him when he set the speed record in late 80s at Daytona. His son definitely doing well and got his dad's genes!
If this season ends with Checo winning the title, I would be so happy. Dude is a great driver and I'd love to see Mexico losing it over having their own WDC F1 driver.I think he is especially suited to street circuits especially in the low speed corners. Yeah, I used to be mad fan of Nascar in 80s and even into the 90s. It was my favorite series for a long time before JV came along in IndyCar and then F1. Nascar became 3rd after that and like you, I haven't watched it at all other than the 500 and the odd other race since before JG retired. They are at Sonoma this weekend I see so I am going to watch that as the road courses at least involes more than turning left. LOLThe Coors car was such a classic look too. Yes, totally agree. I just hope there aren't any team orders BS. But from all accounts when hearing Max talk, he seems level-headed unlike Jos and if Perez does start finishing ahead he ain't going to go ape-shit. I could be wrong of course, but now that he has a WDC, that kind of helps that possibility in that regard.Last season was pretty intense with its battle between Verstappen and Larbleton, I thought it couldn't get any better, now we might get a season with a three or even 4 way struggle between two teams. Pretty neat.

Would also be kinda neat for RB, first Dutch champion, first Mexican champion.
I was properly screaming about this. Mick, for all his faults, had clearly tried to go for a redemption run once he got the radio in, and the entire elimination zone seemed to be trying to fight for Q2 and...>things actually happening
>Hamilton driving round on his own
Guess which the director is going to show.
If you haven't seen it, there's an amazing video on YouTube "There will Never Ever be another driver like Dal Earnhart" that shows the fight between Bobby and Cale. But yeah, I read a book when I was about 7 in mid-70s called The King. You know who it was about. That is what started me into motorracing, and specifically NASCAR. I remember the brawl at the end of the 500 between Allison and ?Yarborough wasn't it? Petty's huge barrell-roll along the fence, Waltrip doing the Iggy shuffle etc. Classic era of racing that was until the new breed with JG started and everything changed. I heard they do some kind of segment system and playoff for title and I knew I was totally done with it, other than the 500 and road courses.
With how intense they were for P3, imagine if Checo wins outright. His dad might explode. If this season ends with Checo winning the title, I would be so happy. Dude is a great driver and I'd love to see Mexico losing it over having their own WDC F1 driver.

Jos is that father who, at a minor league hockey game, grabs a stick and starts beating on the coach for not giving his kid more ice time. With how intense they were for P3, imagine if Checo wins outright. His dad might explode.
Even worse when it shows tyre age, positions gained/lost or just their full name and car number for multiple laps at a time. Like I want some information about the sport and what's going on further down thanks.Yet 80% of the race we get gap to leader. Just a pet peeve, but it makes me wonder if the people working on this stuff actually are into F1

Yeah right, totally forgot about that. It's like they got Einstein, Freud and Kafka to brainstorm the perfect system to show whatever information is the most redundant. Like the race will be 10 laps old and we'll be informed that all cars are at zero pitstops. Or pitstops will happen, so we get full names but no tyre overview. It seems to be tailor made to switch to whatever is most useless at the moment.Even worse when it shows tyre age, positions gained/lost or just their full name and car number for multiple laps at a time.
