Like, he doesn't have Down syndrome or something like that, and he's proven that he can actually perform relatively well in some capacities; We can laugh at his EVO 4th place or valedictorian status, and they definitely are not resounding victories, but they aren't trivial either.

He's definitely not smart, but he's not completely dysfunctional either, and his history kinda feels like his mental capacities had a sharp decline around the time he turned 20. I've also wondered if something actually happened - that he had a car accident around that time always made me wonder, though it didn't seem to be very brutal.

Back to whether Phil is mentally sound or not, I think he really straddles the line between having an honest-to-God medical condition and just being the absolute stupidest a normally-developed human being can be.

In all seriousness it’s almost a certainty something is wrong with him; he has the emotional age of a teenager, if not younger.

Im about 70% convinced he’s autistic as that would explain a lot.
He’s definitely a narcissist as others have pitched before, but to me that’s either separate or a symptom of something else.
That wouldn’t explain why he’s wearing teenagers T-shirts, is so bad with money and responsibilities, dresses in silly hats, does the ‘I know, but I’m not allowed to tell you!’ shtick little kids do, etc.

I think he was just spoiled as a kid, stopped developing and learning after college while also having a knack for street fighter, so he improved to a point where he was good enough to get that 4th place at EVO, this fueled his narc personality, time passes, he get popular on YouTube, which really makes this drunken narc believe he's just THAT special, then shit just goes off the rails until we're here today. I really do believe it's as simple as that but of course this is just my personal theory

If some guy with 15 avg viewers can get a healthy dose of god complex, then imagine what 180k subs will do to the mind of someone who mentally, is literally 15.

I would say that the way he's living is actually very dysfunctional, at least if we go by the bank statements and his bankruptcy documents.

And Kat probably doesn't want to be bothered with Phil's problems because she already is aware of them. Its not like Phil can go to Kat and complain about the trolls and detractors costing him $$$. He will sit on a pre-stream and talk to his faceless audience but not to Kat and certainly not for two hours. He tweeted years ago that he was lonely and needed someone to talk to even though he was with Kat. This was during gin hours but still..

Keep in mind that around the time Phil got departnered from Twitch, Asmongold made a video where he talked about how literally everyone hates Phil and that Twitch should cut down on streamers that have hate watcher communities like Phil's because they taint the platform and make it more toxic for the more positive streamers (starts 9:56 in the video). A month or two after this Wings was also departnered.


But of course Phil is going to be sucking Asmongold off on the prestream today.

Arrested development and learned helplessness are real things and you don’t need crossed brain wires to suffer from them. An overbearing, smothering mother and a distant father are fine too. Phil lies about everything but I’m not sure why he’d lie about his mother having brushed his hair through high school unless it was more compulsive bullshit he spun trying to excuse his thinning hairline. The signs are there, though. I think at some point his old man told him that his “job” as a kid was school and his mother handled literally everything else.

I would have killed myself if I’d been his dorm mate in college. Imagine rooming with someone who never changed their sheets and didn’t know how to do their own laundry.

Maybe. Would moving to the other side of the country from them not have kickstarted SOME emotional or mental development though? And if he was so in love with mommy and the shelter she provides why would he move so far away from that? If he lived in CT he could still have them do laundry, etc.
I don’t have the answers to these, they’re just talking points.

However what tips me slightly into thinking he’s wired wrong is the little things; the rocking, the schedule, the almost obsessive need to explain truly basic things, the absolute insistence on having the same food products each week…

Whole problem with his 'neighbors and garbage' analogy is that is doesn't account for the fact that the neighbor in this case literally throws his garbage all over his front lawn instead of securing it so the raccoons couldn't get it, while also regularly going out of his way to antagonize and provoke the raccoons. I've got nothing against Asmongold. Only content of his I've ever even seen is a handful of his Elden Ring clips. But his whole argument reeks of someone who knows who Phil is because of 'the incident' and other major events while never having seen the day to day bullshit he pulls.

I'm sorry that voyeur of Phil and Kat just keeps creeping into my mind. How does that happen? I know people gained weight during the pandemic but cahm anh! She fucking blew up like a fat Incredible Hulk. She LOOKS RETARDED. And now the stories Phil tells about her bring an unfortunate image

All the times shes ruined a meal. All the things they do (walk around the mall, walk around the house going "PO TAY TOE", sit around watching youtube), the fact that Phil never intended to have kids with her and she has no opinion, Phil's weird aversion to sex, all of these things plus the photo add up and I honestly think she may be a downie.
Go ahead give me the puzzle piece but things are starting to add up for me.
