Street Fighter 6 + Darkstalkers News! - *Morrigan laugh*

Unfortunately, this is Capcom at the wheel and it's to be fully expected that they would mess this feature up. Instead of being informative, their aim is to create fake hype.

Where it should be like this:

(Misses punish)" Oh! And the player missed their punish! You know [enemy's attack] is -4 on hit/block so they could've hit them with [move with better startup] at that range, even combo into a [2nd hit combo move]"

Instead we get:

(Misses punish) "WOT?! Player missed the punish? EXPOSED LESSGO OOH OOH OOH!!"

The problem with the idea is it doesn't make people hype at all. Instead of being there in the action, it's just AI-generated comments by a soulless machine trying to emulate people, and it's by terrible voice actors who are only in this for pretend clout.
They should have just copied the fucking announcer from the pokemon colisseum games/kof15 where they only speak on critical moments
Or just fucking hire joe rogan, hearing him talk about weed and monkeys is better than these e-sport faggots

I am 100% convinced there will be an option to turn of the turdwipe esports commentary, but it just makes me wish we had the hype man from SFA3 or the 3rd strike announcer more.

Wow, I had no idea that James Charles was going to be a playable character in SF6.

With drive attached to blocking and the burnout state lasting as long as it does, offensive play and hitting parries are going to be top priority.

Its not as bad as A3 guard meter being chipped off till you can barely block anymore, but defensive play is still taking a backseat.
Good. It's a sensitive subject for FGC faggots but fireball zoning is boring, not exciting, and very easy to accomplish. I don't care who say's "This belong with scrub quotes!" Or invokes Lord Daigo this or whatever. There's zero mind game going on with running away, chucking fireballs, and waiting for a jump in or daring a guy to come at you. There's no fucking way you can convince me that a guy picking a fireball character has to work harder than the guy who has to get through the fireball keepaway.

That said, V went too far in the other direction and just rewarded going jungle and hitting random buttons or relying on Comeback mechanic V-Trigger get in for free bullshit.

I like where 6 is going by making parries have more risk to them while at the same time practically removing (so far) full screen fireball keep away nonsense.

It's especially annoying if you main a brawler (non-fireball character). Anytime I pick Zangief or honda against a shoto or fireball user, majority of my matches are me chasing the other guy who's jumping away from me or air tatsu-ing to the other side when I get too close and then fireball spams when they are far away.

I'm an offensive fighter. I like when my matches are up close and both of us are beating the shit out of each other. Facing someone who just stalls the match for a time over, especially when they have a life lead, just completely kills any fun that could be had.

To put it in another way, it's like playing Pokemon against someone that has a stall team (Quagsire, Chansey, Mega Sableye, Cresselia, etc...). By the time your team dies, you're already in a coma from the boredom.

Jamie's hair goes unbraided and loose when he reaches max drunk level without using his super:

Reminds me of Necalli, with the hair going loose in his "super mode". Alcoholic Necalli.

You know who would be a good announcer and I'm not even joking about this....
Julie Andrews

Im serious. She's been doing a shit ton of VO work recently. Its so out there it just might work.

It's either that or Jamie Lee Curtis. Or god forbid the mongoloid Nicki Minaj.

I dunno. Shotos having fireballs and more utility is also the reason they have lower health and stun values than their grappler compatriots. Feels balanced enough to me when a shoto has to have perfect keepaway to chip Zangief's health down to half, only to eat one Atomic Buster and lose the same amount.

That being said, the worst time-scamming I saw was someone who put the clock down to its minimum for their hosted session and played Rose, just spamming shit until they had the life lead and running away. It's one thing if a person doesn't know better and that's the only trick they have, it's another when they change the rules of engagement purely so that strategy can succeed.

either brainless retards, or geriatric boomers who haven't played any new games since sf2 (where shit like sagat fireball trapping you in the corner forever was actually a problem)
in like every mainline sf game since 3, options and tools to deal with and counter fireball zoning are widely available and generally stronger than the projectile moves themselves, to the point where it 's barely even a viable strategy anymore

The SF series should be happy with the many ways we can deal with zoning now.

NRS zoning is some methhead dev shit that they never really fix in any game and of recent Arcsys retarded auto locking zoner that chipped out the rest of the cast cause of that dumb guard break mechanic that should have never made it past testing.

In SF these days fireballs are more conditional moves or frametrap tools. Unless you're playing Guile throwing a fireball against someone competent is a risk.

I do agree that the people running away is annoying but you can't take faggotry out some players.

These were the worse offenders. You could do this in SF4 and SF5 to grind out points, but most people didn't even notice until they got in a match.

SF6 hopefully keeps this shit in casual search lobbies and have a standard setup for the comp ladders.

Sir, no one is saying that Gief needs to get in for free. Read what I wrote. I explicitly said V went too far in the other direction.

Okay dude who apparently has never seen a 4 tournament with shotos and somehow never saw Guile/Menat tourney play or played against these characters.

People have already said there is, because there are multiple faggots screeching about it (which is a good thing, because if I had to play with that shit on all the time, I'd kill myself).

The only way the commentary would be good is if they got Aris:

Or Doctor Subzero:

Hellpockets would be good too:

I don't want to hear James Chen's or Ultra David's faggot asses on mic. Knowing our luck, Skisonic will get in there.
