That was five years ago. There's little if anything to indicate he has that kind of money now. He files IFP a lot, and he hasn't said anything about going to the brothels for a while now. Of course, when he getting piled on by actual hookers over his PAC, the madame of the Mustang Ranch indicated they had a restraining order against him. So maybe he's banned from all the good ones and so he does have a pile of cash. That said, he bitched about how much he spent on his "accommodations" in the AGT suit. Did he file IFP for AGT? I don't recall. But you may be right. He's a cheap bastard, so maybe he does have a sizeable chunk of disposable income compared to his pay.

Whether broke = low-income is a matter of opinion, but I would say so only because of his statement in the Marathon docs (something like, “I’ll never be in the financial position of having extra $ like I was in 2020” when the stimulus money was distributed.)

Unless something has changed since January, he's still broke. He said in his amended complaint one of the reasons he should be able to skip directly to the celeb judging round because he's too broke to hire The Accommodations for another open call audition. His also seemed to expect The Accommodations to participate in the celeb round (and any subsequent rounds) for free, in exchange for a guaranteed spot on tv. (Makes me wonder if they actually agreed to that.)

I feel the accommodations got the money upfront since they already had a rehearsal place and being working musicians they knew Russ had zero chance of getting on that show but went along hoping to squeeze more cash out of him.

It does beg the question of where he got $14K to spend on the brothels back in the mid '10s. But yeah, he hasn't spoken of brothel trips in a while, which makes me think he's tight on cash. I did know. I browse the community happenings and saw your(it's always you) update. However, I don't understand how my post implies I thought it was still going on. It was boring when it was happening and is just as boring now that it's over. It's all been so boring lately. Believe it or not, waiting on updates to legal proceedings in which neither party is talking is more sleep-inducing than melatonin. Wake me up when Greer's lawyers stop faking sick, drop him as a client, and Greer goes on a 2-part facebook screed about how they fucked his ass: literally or figuratively.
