But keep in mind 1) Towa is Laplus' oshi and there's no way Laplus doesn't know, 2) this was a tangent while talking about Koyori's Needy Streamer Overload playthrough, 3) Laplus has also told her fans not to be jealous when they hear her rice cooker speaking. The point being: Laplus says a lot of things. Also, the attack vector this time (such as it is) wasn't that she's interacting with a man, but something retarded about Rust permissions. Her Twitter activity since then looks normal for her, so I think she'll be fine.

Didn't this whole thing with Laplus start with a discord message from her popping up on some guy's stream? (Good ol' discord strikes again.) So definitely interaction going on enough to send messages to a man. Oh nyo! The Rust permissions part of it was just an aside and kind of a good deflection though. But yeah, her whole schtick is being a chuuni and overreacting to things as one would, so I don't take much from her seriously.

RPR's oshi is Towa and he's done quite a bit with her in apex in the past. So he has dabbled with the holoJP side. I think he even offered to be their coach for that recent tourney where Aqua was playing, but they decided to go without one. I'm not sure if he has collab'ed with Towa yet since officially switching over to becoming a vtuber though, but I'm sure he will eventually if not already. Besides that, for holoID, Ollie of course is usually sure to pop up on anything apex related and I think he's played with or at least interacted with her in the past. I think this will be his first interaction with Zeta though, but she's still new so that's not surprising.

Speaking of RPR and apex though, I watched a couple hours of one of his apex streams where he was playing with Selen. They were playing semi-seriously and so she wasn't in giggle-dragon mode (I think she only giggled a few times in the entire couple hours I watched) and I enjoyed her much more. I don't know if her giggling constantly is just her thing, or has she calmed down with it recently? I'd probably watch her occasionally if it wasn't for that.

Chloe's 3D looks pretty good. She unfortunately falls into the category for me that the more of her costume you remove, the more and more generic she looks. Once her hood, mask and jacket are removed, she looks like any amount of other Vtubers.

The seaworld "performing seal" thing she's doing it kinda fun though.

We've hit about 134k now for watching live. Lots of donos going in too. Think she's the most successful 3D launch for hololive now?

Most excited for Koyori's out of HoloX but Chloe would be second place out of the X girls. Rui is fine, Iroha I keep forgetting exists and Lapus is... okay, I guess. She's total loli-bait though which kind of ruins her. Not sure if any of the 3 girls would beat her for live viewers? Koyori is kind of taking off in popularity from what I've seen. Lapus seems a fan favourite but doubt they'd beat Chloe's numbers.

Most VTubers fall into the category of looking generic when you remove the outer layers of the costume. Remove Pekora's coat and it's just a bunny girl outfit. Remove Marine's coat and she doesn't even look like a pirate.

It would be doable. Just don't make a thousand threads. Do a thread for each of the big corpos: Holo, Niji, VS etc. Then a combined thread for smaller corpos: PC, Tsunderia, Cyber etc. Finally a combined thread for indies. Keeps it separated but not so blown out that things get buried.

Even so, a lot of them made it pretty clear they're not the best people IRL anyway. Some seem like they'd be chill to hang with, especially based on the roommate/past life stuff we do know of with many like Karen would definitely be a blast to hang with if you're not trying to bang her, while a handful of others seem like unless you're a woman they'd despise you even existing, like Noel for example despite her antics.

With some things played up on stream. The worst I can say is that Pekora is awfully socially awkward but she's not a bad person. I mean, I guess they'd despise me if I acted like a spazzy fan all the time around them but they just seem like regular people to me.

Hololive hosts a lot of menheras. If the Rushia situation wasn't already a clear indicator to you, similar people include Noel, Matsuri to a certain extent, Laplus (but she's the dorky of menhera), Kiara, Aloe before she got assblasted by the Japs, and Choco. Though I don't really watch Choco. She just gives me menhera vibes so I can't exactly say for sure.

I disagree with your choices there. I see Marine in her alternative costumers like her beach costume? I know it's Marine. Mio? Her costumes change dramatically and I immediately know its her. Pekora I don't really follow but she's stylised enough I recognise her in her Yukata costume no problem. I don't like Kiara but at least when I see her in other styles, I know it's her.

I'm sure there are other Vtubers in Hololive that are pretty generic looking if you changed their costume. Fubuki looks very similar to about 2 other white fox girls, especially that girl from Blue Archive. Anytime I see that character I have to double take that it's not Fubuki. Ame is mainly memorable to me because of her artist's style, if you took that away she's just a big titted blonde girl. Matsuri and Sora are both pretty generic "cute girl" models who I'd struggle to recognise against 50 similar indie Vtubers outside their main colourings or costume.

Chloe just doesn't stand out to be out of costume compared to HoloX. Koyori, La+ and Rui all are very distinctive. Iroha, yeah, she's generic as fuck as well.

Sounds dumb. I barely have enough time to pay attention to my Oshi, but I like being able to jump into a stream I see in the thread if I'm free and my Oshi isn't streaming. I've had a ton of fun seeing indies do dumb shit from these threads and I'd never get that experience otherwise. What people need to do is curb their expectations on keeping up with this thread 24/7.

Noel and Choco? Seriously? The rest I can understand because they had their moments, but these two? They're as far from menhera as it get. Choco's also bonafide hag. And being menhera =/= bad people.
