BPD is incurable as well, which is why many therapists outright refuse to treat people with the condition, or any Cluster B disorder. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy only works for those who want it, but inherently crazy people don’t seek out help, because they’re, you know, crazy. Nick’s far too old and mentally immature for his age for any real personal growth.

Psychopathy is like a Greek tragedy: imagine you’re essentially blind, or deaf, or mute, but instead of those disabilities, it’s the inability to feel love. If psychopaths, BPD-types, and crazies in general weren’t so insufferable, you could almost feel bad. Almost.
