Most of these things work by slowly at first then all at once. It can look spontaneous but actually the build up has been going on for long time.
Basically slowly more and more people get suspicious, worried or disgusted but it's still manageable level. They might not even know themselves what's different but something is nagging in back of their head. It doesn't do much outside of things being tense and what used to get positive attention no longer doing that. Then something will pop up that puts the drama on table just right and that's starts a chain reaction. The it goes down fast. People will put things together, air out their long held grievances and others will listen, money will disappear, new laws get put in place, some guilty or close enough will the get full scpe goat treatment to put fear of god in them and people looking.
For example remember Coco the signing gorilla? She was huge star and in general there was huge movement to learn about languages and evolution by teaching primates to use sign language. Tons of money, attention, researchers, animals and other resources were tided with this and it was good. Then slowly people started ask guestions about the results, people seeing what they wanted rather what was there, misunderstandings about sign language and animal welfare. Those involved that noticed something wrong started to speak out, mostly in private but still rumor started fly. Then there was a documentary that exposed alot of these weaknesses and the whole complex just got shut down and/or abandoned within weeks. It wasn't pretty, there were alot primates involved and no money or staff to take care of them anymore.

Absolutely and this is why I say that it's not TERFs that's the biggest issue for TRAs, it's the trannies themselves. Most people are fine with the flamboyant HSTS types, but almost every time someone is confronted with a greasy aggressive AGP type people have to explain it away as "not real trans" (whatever that means). As they continue to push themselves into spaces where they shouldn't be (because lol narcissistic traits), more people will start experience that cognitive dissonance and eventually it'll be too many cases to explain away as "not real trans" - or rather they'll at the very least be forced to try and define what that is.
They're dismantling their own movement by literally existing. It's quite interesting to see, especially as you see media trying to promote HSTS or harmless Aidens types (see: Saved by the Bell reboot or any other type of media that features "trans" characters).

I low-key love the genocide narrative, because they are the ones willingly sterilising themselves and harming their bodies by removing otherwise healthy body parts and taking drugs they're not supposed to be taking. If anyone's committing troon "genocide" it's the troons themselves.

So this has to be one of the saddest/funniest troons I've stumbled across while browsing r/MTF. Meet Awkward_Swim_4346, aka Zoe. Zoe joined the Navy 4 years ago when he was 18-years-old; it took him less than 6 months to completely destroy his career after he decided to troon out on Uncle Sam.
I'm honestly shocked Zoe was accepted into the Navy in the first place... the bar was pretty low to begin with, but evidently, the bar is in hell now. Still, it cracks me up that he was shocked to learn he was getting the boot. Even in the current year, the military has little patience or sympathy for the mentally ill. Did he really think the Navy would allow a hysterical, suicidal tranny to keep serving on a submarine?
Correct me if I’m wrong but the military won’t even let you in if you have fucking ADHD am I correct? Why does he expect that people will run around accommodating his emotional outbursts on a fucking nuclear submarine?
These people really don’t see the world around them as real, do they. The “world” consists of their feelings and needs, and everyone and everything else is just background scenery that exists to accommodate those feelings and needs. National security concerns due to a sailor being insubordinate and unstable and showing the potential to lose it in the middle of a submarine deployment? Meaningless background noise, irrelevant. A sudden desire to become “Zoe” and dress like a woman? World-changing, epic, the mountains must bow down and the seas must part.
The saddest part is that I think a lot of them aren’t actually full-blown narcissists who would always have turned out this way. Most of them probably could have lived a mostly normal life if they hadn’t fallen into a cult that told them their whims and gender feelings were a matter of life or death.

The way they constantly compare themselves to jews in Nazi Germany is one of the things that peaked me. These are insanely coddled and privileged people who expect everybody else to cater to their every whim every single second and threaten to kill themselves at the slightest inconvenience yet compare themselves to the victims of mind-numbing inhumanities. Anybody with even the slightest bit of empathy reading about the holocaust would come to the conclusion that no matter how bad they are doing, at least they are not jews in Nazi Germany. In fact, pretty much all atrocities commited by forces of ultimate evil in speculative fiction like fantasy or sci fi usually fall short of what humans actually did to others in that time and place.
This sort of shit is deeply offensive and disrespectful and goes to show that troons are just pampered narcissits who lack even the slightest bit of empathy but more than make up for it in unfounded vanity and self-pity.
