Isn't it one of those parts of the UK where people basically stab each other to say hello? And has a shitton of teen pregnancy? To give some context, Essex is like the New Jersey of England. HTH.

A black "JUICY" track suit, I guess.OK but what's she going to wear to the funeral?
Anyone else get a little cognitive dissonance from the judge ruling that Archie is both long dead and being physically harmed? I can see from a dignity aspect, no kid would want pictures of themselves emaciated and diapered and slowly rotting online for everyone to see. "You are burdening this corpse" is an angle I didn't expect. It's more palatable than "you are wasting so much time and money" I guess?
The wierd thing is in that judgment it says multiple times that the family understands he is going to die and soon, but wants it to happen "naturally'.I know what you mean - it’s not as though he’s suffering in any way, though it’s not what most people would want for their loved one, however dead. But I think it’s as much for the hospital staff and the family as Archie. It would ultimately be much better for the family if they could accept this, however reluctantly and unhappily, and the life support could be removed in a planned way when they can be there to say goodbye.
The longer this goes on, the more his body is going to deteriorate in distressing ways, and the more Hollie is going to see it as evidence of deliberate neglect. And when he does finally transition to even more dead it might be in the middle of the night, she might not even be there, and do you think she’s then going to accept it as the will of God? She’s more likely to start screaming about murder and threatening to sue everyone she can.
Good thing you weren't around for the Jahi McMath saga, that was even worse. Her trashy, scumbag mother is the reason why New Jersey passed a law stating that dead people on vents cannot be transferred over state lines into New Jersey to be kept alive indefinitely, reserving that "right" for state residents. It was also very clear why she wanted her kept alive; California (where she died initially) has a payout cap for dead people, but for living (or "living") but permanently disabled people there was no cap. And Mama Nails fought like hell for unlimited money to fund her trashy, self-centered lifestyle. The fact that the judge ruled that he needs to be taken off life support and allowed to die (even though he's dead but you know what I mean) and the mom wants to appeal because she doesn't believe it is absolutely atrocious. Top hat me, but she's one of the worst I've seen.
I'm 1000% sure that if the UK system enabled her, Hollie would be another Mama Nails. I'm very interested to see how she's going to milk this after he's gone. Prediction: absolutely massive big fat gypsy wedding style horse drawn funeral costing enough to save the lives of 20 kids with survivable cases of HIE.Good thing you weren't around for the Jahi McMath saga, that was even worse. A lot of them probably don't even truly love their kids, because they're far too narcissistic for that.I have a bit of a theory about the people who latch onto these campaigns. They think loving your kid is the only thing required to be a good parent. They probably aren’t the best parents themselves, for myriad reasons. So to make themselves feel better about their own shortcomings, they join these FB groups to rant about never, ever giving up on your kid. Even if they’re a corpse on life support… never give up!
Yeah I know so many young teens who are struggling majorly with their mental health the last couple of years. Moreso than usual at this age.
One of mine is just turned 14, diagnosed autism, also assessed as likely an anxiety disorder, but our good ol' CAMHS "don't treat anxiety in autistic kids". She's a shell of herself. Has barely been at school for two years, self harming, disordered eating, spontaneous crying, swings between sleeping constantly and insomnia.
I wont lie, the posts about kids that age only having issues if theyve got shitty parents is stinging. I'm doing everything I can. I've had her back and forward to the GP since October 2020 and she finally has an 'urgent' appointment with CAMHS next week, after already been cancelled on.
Mental health support in the UK is woefully inadequate. She needs help, and I need help to help her, but its just not there.
Slutty dress and platformsOK but what's she going to wear to the funeral?

Guarantee at least 95% of the "people" on that group are the type who would "do anything for me kids" unless that involves cooking for them, reading to them, taking them to the swingpark, or anything else that might interrupt a busy day of being on the fucking dole.
They’re not smart enough to be narcs.
