Now I'm no policy expert, but how is that even supposed to work when Putin says, "lol no" and laughs in their face.
Another issue with this plan it that this only really covers Europe and even if Russia lost some money there they would be more then happy to sell more fuel to countries in Asia which they have been doing a lot since the invasion of Ukraine started.

So much for the Red Wave....

Theory: The framework is weak. Democrats know this and admit that it doesn’t give them what they want (outside of making it appear to their base that they’re working on the issue). Republicans, otoh, know the framework is weak as well, yet see that it doesn’t contain the more egregious proposals (like AW/magazine capacity bans. I won’t even put red flag laws into this category, as they’re frivolous and it’s doubtful that they’d survive a substantial court challenge).

Could the republicans, knowing that the proposals are likely to be non-ambitious, be towing this line for the sole purpose of de-fanging the DNC’s talking point that “tHey sTonEwAlL eVuRyTHinG!!” by saying this? Could they be wanting to create optics that they “care” about the issue to the voters? They could always just reject the bill at the 11th hour and say ‘welp we tried!’

Likely: These RINO fuckers vote for whatever bill comes up in pursuit of that^ aim, and the 2A suffers another cut after already suffering thousands. Like the faggots they are, they then act surprised when they find out that the democrats will still level the same vitriolic shit at them in any situation where they refuse to debate anything less than a total repeal of the 2A.

DEF stocks are sharply falling. Imports of it, of urea, and de-ionized water are sharply falling. Domestic production of all three is sharply falling. Not so long ago you could get 2 and a half gallon jugs of DEF for 7 bucks at places like Walmart, Target, places like Agway. Then 10 bucks. Now you can't find it anywhere.
I paid like $21.99 for a 2.5 gallon jug of it for my truck at Walmart. And on the same note, diesel prices went up over .20 cents a gallon to $5.75 a gallon overnight here in AZ. Go figure. I've taken to filling up at 3/4 of a tank because I can't afford a 38 gallon $218 hit from dead empty. A 1/4 tank runs $50 as it is.

And... most of the urea, from what I understand, is produced by guess who? Yup, Russia.

"Who exports the most urea?

In 2019, Russia was by far the world's largest exporter of urea, at 6.98 million metric tons. Qatar followed, with more than 5.6 million tons. Other leading countries in terms of urea exports were Egypt, China, and Saudi Arabia."

Won't make a bit of difference

The only real thing that appears to be in this is increased scrutiny of juvenile criminal records for those 18-21 trying to purchase a rifle. No background check requirement for private sales or transfers, no bans, no national red flag law. They'll pass an appropriation to give states money for increased red flag law use or new red flag laws which most states will not use

One trick I learned. Use the DEF pumps at the truck stops. Easier than managing the stupid 2.5 gallon box and cheaper too.
(Well, assuming they have any.)

thats not true, you only need a software update to start without it. just ask Bosch for the code. they have it, its how they and every Car company cheated in Dieselgate.
Volkswagen cheated by using the ABS wheel speed sensors to figure out when the car is on a dyno. When it's on a dyno, the diesel engines went into a fuel map that made no power and ran like shit, but passed emissions. Someone was smart enough to put one on a dyno that could spin the front wheels and all the sudden they didn't pass emissions anymore. Some very shrill journos and politicians claimed Bosch wrote the code for this, but some how only Volkswagen and it's subsidiaries (Audi and Porsche) got caught.

It was steering angle. If you never turned the wheel, it was on a dyno.

Bosch did build the part that cheated, and they sold it to a couple of other companies. the EPA went after VW because VW was the biggest problem for the US companies.
others like Merc and FCA got a slap on the wrist. GM only cheated in europe on this.

At least Cobra Commander had an economic recovery plan

See now this cartoon is very silly. It's not physically possible to create something that just destroyed bank notes across America but left everything else unharmed.

However, with new centralized digital currencies they're working on - you could totally do this. And to select groups and individuals. Or just block certain groups or individuals from receiving money. Whatever works best. This cartoon was just ahead of its time. Give it ten years!

So you're saying the United States is taking the piss?

More than taking the piss - it's outright drinking it from a goddamn funnel, while exclaiming "Please sir, may I have some more?"

That's right. After I posted, I started wondering how the AWD Audi's went into dyno mode.

Bosch sells injection pumps to everyone. Volkswagen was the only one selling diesel vehicles without DPF or SCR aftertreatment.

Yea, as I remember it VW said "Sure we can meet those emissions without DPF and SCR." We determined that was a lie.
Diesel already had a shit reputation for passenger cars in the US and that pretty much stuck a fork in it.

Me, eagerly awaiting the impending economic collapse:

Not pictured: Thousands of dollars worth of precious metals in my closet
Do you also have briefcases full of money buried in your backyard?
And meanwhile, Poland went the exact opposite direction, LOWERING taxes on gas to fight inflation. And they did it almost hlf a year ago. Makes a lot more sense to me.
Polish Gov Website
Of course they did. And of course the right wing sees Central and Eastern Europe as the models to emulate.
I unironically want to see Zelensky couped and Ukraine becomes an unironic Nazi state lol.

Just to see the amount of butthurt and lulz it will generate and make clown world even more insane.

And Biden is forced to defend Nazis lol.
Hasn’t he already done that with the Azov Battalion being part of the main forces for Ukraine?

I dont think what theyre doing is legal. But I'm not an expert on flag law so feel free to correct me.
They’re doing this again? Bowser forgot there’s a 52nd that also needs to be added for Puerto Rico.
The supply chain is about to get fucked well beyond what we've seen.

Diesel trucks since 2010 have been required to use Diesel Exhaust Fluid. DEF is 2/3 urea and 1/3 de-ionized water. It's kept in a separate tank and mixes with the diesel exhaust before it comes out the exhaust pipe. Reduces emissions. The truck literally cannot start if there's no DEF in the tank.

Many thousands of diesel trucks could be put of action in the next 6 weeks because of this. Wonder what that will do to muh supply chain and muh prices on the shelf. For everything.

So glad we got rid of mean tweets and the mortal danger to our sacred democracy so the competent sane adults could be in charge again. Our sacred democracy is really being saved by being turned into 1931 Weimar Germany.
We’re not at Weimar. We don’t have mothers burning dollar bills to start fires for cooking or children using wads of cash like Jenga blocks. Not right now at least.

Hasn’t he already done that with the Azov Battalion being part of the main forces for Ukraine?

Not really, with Russians killing off Hohol Nazis each passing day for well, understandable reasons.

Z-man has less opposition towards him each time the Z-warriors put a banderite in the grave.

If Azov well managed to get rid of Z-man and stage a coup, well they get to run the show and run the nation as how they see fit. And will most likely put a lot of those corrupt Soviet era oligarchs in the grave and change the nation to their own desires. And maybe negotiate a treaty with Russia on their own terms without being a direct puppet of Uncle Sam involved like Z-man is.

This is just my speculation if the Azovites managed to create an unironic fascist Ukraine.

They live in a fantasy world. Here's an example that I read yesterday:

The obvious problem is that a U.S./Canada/EU cartel is not the entire world. Russia is already selling more goods to India, could do so with China, Sri Lanka, Africa, Latin America, etc. So the other thing they are talking about is refusing to provide shipping insurance to countries that do business with Russia. Now, if that doesn't deter countries, they'll go one step further with the cartel tough guy stuff and take people off the SWIFT system and sanction them. What I see is a bully and a blowhard of an organization feeling like it is weak so it is bluffing and behaving like it is in a position of strength. This weak-guy-acting-tough stuff will not work unless China, India, Africa and Latin America have 5 billion of the world's worst bargainers in human history.
