This is definitely not the case with Calli. Only after 8 hours of grinding did she decide to change her non-winning formula of fighting this boss. Tells you a lot about the character. Whatever this girl managed to achieve in her life was done through sheer grinding and hard work (and of course, that little bit of luck everyone needs to make it big).

Yeah if you compare this catastrophe of gameplay to other members, Calli comes out even worse, so better not do that.

The popular Tree Sentinel (first boss) was grinded by many Holos but this is when you have nothing but starting gear. Calli had a myriad of weapons, summons and tools to try but stuck to her strat without ever properly learning the mechanics of the boss.

Nearly forgot that Japan doesn't have the strict exotic pet laws like western countries.
Bushbabies are tiny primates and not easy to take care of, they will piss everywhere to mark territory including on their hands to rub on things, can catch many illnesses humans have and screech like crazy at night. Someone I knew tried keeping one as a pet illegally and they hated the thing after a month.

Reminds of of the North American Racoon craze of the 70s in Japan, now they are all over the country and illegal to keep as pets because they were imported by the tens of thousands.

Yup. I've been in Japanese pop culture communities when I lived there and can say that it's not quite as hush hush and conservative as people may suggest. You won't see Pride parades rolling down the streets of Shinjuku, but you can guess with reasonable certainty that groups who cosplay together probably aren't straight.

Japan is a really complex place, plenty of apparently clashing realities coexist there and things are often not what one would assume them to be. I'm willing to believe that while not being officially supported and all, most people don't really have a problem with LGBT people there, certainly safer than in places like China for sure. But then, most places outside of those with State enforced persecution of LGBT people are probably like that, with varying degrees of acceptance. You never know lol!

Keeki does seem a bit sheltered and she is certainly insecure. Many places in Europe have plentiful Welfare systems, Austria is one of them as far as I am aware, from my quick googling she would have needs such as healthcare, financial aid and the like covered by the Government, being a native and all. If Asylum seekers get housing, food, healthcare and pocket money, it's reasonable she would have access to more advanced benefits!
