Ok Groomer. Why do they want to talk to children about sex so fucking bad?

This makes zero sense. Children who grow up knowing about sex and believing that it is an appropriate activity are less likely to realize they are being groomed. They think it's all normal and safe, after all. There's also a good difference between knowing about reproductive organs, their uses, diseases, etc. and having every middle school class read the Kama Sutra.

Yes, he’s mixing up basic safety education (which does actually tend to protect kids from being targeted by groomers) with actually “teaching them about sex.” There are dozens of good safety curriculums that teach preschool and young elementary school kids everything they need to know without scaring them or talking about anything explicit or inappropriate. My body belongs to me, my private parts are the parts of my body covered by my bathing suit and shouldn’t be touched by grown ups, if someone makes me uncomfortable or tells me to keep a secret go tell a trusted adult, etc. Done.

(Then again, as far as I know these curriculums are being replaced by “playing with dolls means you’re a girl” classes now, who knows.)

It’s gross that he is conflating actually helpful safety and educations programs with whatever weird shit he wants to do.

Well, almost a year later, we have a positive update. After several trips to the psych ward, being banned from Best Buy, and an arrest, Anthony "GaLmHD" Lazenby has pulled back from trooning out and is attempting to slowly pull his shit back together. Doing so offline with a regular job would be the smarter option but he's no longer believing that he can time travel by playing with random knobs in his room so there's progress, at least.

Kinsey's statistic was 10%, not 1%, and that was the stat used for years by the gay rights lobby. It helped break down opposition by force of numbers the same way the Born Gay thing did. It didn't matter if it was wrong, but it served its purpose.

Exclusive homosexuality hovers around 1%, bisexuality tends to be higher, especially in women. It's highest within the 18-24 demographic. That's where the queer explosion is coming in.

It's ironic that the LGBTQ movement has made such things even more ridged and suffocating.

Many people still consider it a grave insult to be compared to faggots or troons in any way, so they are less likely to engage in behaviors that would make people think that they could be such, even a little bit. That's the result of faggotry and troonism becoming more commonplace, AND people making it out to think that certain behaviors, like deep platonic friendships, are "gay" or "queer."

Studies about homosexuality are quite likely to attract more homosexuals than heterosexuals. Most people are more intrested in a topic that affects their life than a topic that doesn't. Majority of people are straight and find sex in general a private topic that doesn't affect much. They have much less insentive to get involved over homosexuals who are different from the majority and have had multiple issues do their sexuality.

Add to that who is more likely to study something like this and what they are hoping to accomplish with it. I would wager that they are very prohomo and so want to get a large number because it supports their position better than homos are far and few between. They might even mean to be objective but still pick a demographic where homosexuals are over presented or ask questions that push undesirable people or anwers away. Reasoning being something like older generation are going to hide it so better stick with youths or smart university city folk are going to anwer better so I should use that vocabulary.

None this said to be anti homo or pro homo, more biases and limits of behavioral studies. I don't come from sexuality studies but I have done work with product designs and user interfaces. It's really hard to build a study that gives you honest feedback or useful data. It's so easy just find result you want, ignore information you don't or miss oblivious signs that study isn't reliable.

This is why most often behavior indicators like asking anonymously about MSM behavior on things like community health surveys that reach hundreds of thousands of people. The 4% is IIRC the 5 year rate of same sex contact among men. It actually varies a lot down to the county level, because gay men and lesbians tend to migrate to urban centers, so are overrepresented there and underrepresented in rural areas. The rates remain fairly consistent, but many of those men would not identify themselves as gay. Whether they even are is matter of debate. There is evidence that male sexuality is more bimodal than female sexuality, but even if a dude has strong same sex attraction he can still essentially live a heterosexual life (with maybe some downlow action on the side). 4% is likely an overestimate if you mean people who engage regularly in same sex contact or who are in same-sex relationships exclusively.

Regardless of that, the largest growth in "LGBTQ" identification has been trans and non-binary in the past decade, especially among young women. There's also a strong correlation between political identity and identifying as trans or non-binary, which isn't the case for surveys that focus purely on same sex behavior. That's one of the big indicators that the current queer wave is a social contagion emerging in one specific portion of the population that is already primed to accept the ideas.
