Plagued Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

I would kind of like for there to be wireless earbuds that are like full earcuffs wrapped around your ear so they can't fall off. Not even the way it wraps around now where it's merely less likely to snap off, but designed similarly to the jewelry versions. Fantasy elves were just listening to their thoroughly clipped-on airpods and the human peasants didn't understand and thought it was just decorative.
You mean like this sort of thing?

While having to charge them is annoying, they last much longer than wired ones because the wire itself tends to be where headphones break, not the internal components.
True, but the wire thing seems to be a problem with gaming branded shit. I'm not exactly babying my gear so after 2 gaming branded headphones that developed wire problems after a year or so, I decided to purchase a Sennheiser with a removable cable with the intention of just replacing the cable.

It's been years and it hasn't needed a cable replacement - not exactly treating it like a baby either - think wearing them while drilling holes for wall shelving.

There's a fair few models of earbuds with different levels of ear-hookage marketed for sports (but not stupid-expensive marketed). I see people jogging around with them fairly regularly and they look like the won't easily fall out. They'd also be the only kind of wireless ones I'd wear, I'm sticking to my wired old-school Sennheiser buds for now (since they're also only 15 bucks if I even need to replace them)

I've got a pair exactly like these (different brand iirc) and can confirm they are nice.
Only issues are that it's super annoying when you go out and 5 minutes later the battery dies. But you learn quick to charge your shit after that happens once or twice.
And sometimes the band will get stuck to the back of my neck when I start sweating. All in all, 9/10 would recommend.

Had mine for a couple years, where my corded ones would die in ~6 months.

Just get a pair of IEMs dude. Most of them are made to be swooshed over the tops of your ears and have removable cables that are easily replaceable.

Plus there are ones that are really cheap these days. So they’re not just a pretentious audiophile thing. The ones in that product photo are like 30 quid.

I got them as a gift so idk how much they were, but they definitely aren't top of the line. And basically look just like this but the cords aren't removable (and I wouldn't want to because again, way too easy to lose)

I got them for like 20 bucks in Ali Express, i think some sellers even sell them with an extra detachable cable. They're perfect for playing videogames on a handheld.

I always wondered who was actually watching things like the Disney streaming Star Wars shows, now we know.
I'm not convinced she actually watches them. I think she just saw the memes and community online and decides to buy a cheap saber to join in. You see weird posers jumping from Fandom to Fandom all the time for the attention or sense of belonging.
