Not really anything. By and large atheist but not a "practising" atheist like Reddit retards, I had just accepted long before that there can't be a God in a rational, physical universe and that there could also be no realm such as heaven or hell. You die, you sleep, you rot, all that makes you who you are returns to the aether and the book closes.Curious. What were your beliefs, in a nutshell, at that time? If you don't mind my asking, of course.
Interesting. This further bolsters what I've gathered from other source. Thanks for sharing. Not really anything. If you delve into religion and find yourself with questions that you can't seem to answer? If you'd like to stay in the Biblical lane, go dig up what you can of the Apocrypha. Some of the material removed from what we call "The Bible" didn't get removed with altruistic intent, let's say..and that's only counting the material we are privy to. If you're feeling disillusioned with Christendom and want something removed from religion in general, then I'd recommend the "Seth" books (for the umpteenth time). There are also a plethora of philosophers on the matter who hardly see the light of day in accepted circles, such as Gurdjieff. These days I'm not so sure about that. I'm not a devout Christian despite my previous schizoposting in other threads, but I'm exploring it more. I have other beliefs I've explored (but not other faiths) and I have my own musings about how the universe might work. To me, at the very least, it seems that there is more to life than just the physical.
Thanks, I'll look into it sometime. I need to read more. I'm not partial to Christianity for any real reason, it simply piques my interest moreso than any other western system of faith.Interesting. This further bolsters what I've gathered from other source. Thanks for sharing.

Same, kind of fascinating, albeit smelling of sulphur.I did once.
It was so beautiful, and kinda hot. Lotta screaming, but I think it was screams of happiness. These neat guys with pitchforks shown me around, and I kinda blacked out after that.
When I woke back up, I seemed to have these weird lash marks on my back.
Odd, huh?
