I've noticed that some journos have been handwringing over the idea that the red wave will impeach biden. I have two thoughts about this trend
1. Its probably part kvetching over the idea that they're vulnerable, as well as more subtle encouragement of an idea by those who wish to remove biden despite being "on the same team"
2. People will probably be calling for the impeachment before midterms at this fucking rate because of shit like this

I don't think they'll try the impeachment route unless they absolutely have to - I could hardly think of a better campaign ad for '24 and beyond than a couple more years of this horseshit.
The downside is that we still don't know where the bottom of this particular hole is and it's not gonna be fun finding out.

The majority of American nursing home are a fate worse than death. Surrounded by ailing old people who you've never met at the mercy of some poorly trained aide who will take it out on you if they're having a bad day. The ones my grandparents ended up in constantly smelled of urine and bleach. I would rather die working than ever end up in a nursing home. The Asian model works in favor cause it keeps old people occupied and surrounded by familiar faces.
