because this is the Vtuber thread, I think this vid of Sora fall-flailing sums up my feeling on how some of you managed to attract the gaze of Glorious One.. again.. in less than 24 hours
I feel the need to remind that Null allowed this thread to close out Coco's grad stream when he could have easily pulled the plug to do site maintenance. Nope, was okay to let the weirdos on his site do their thing for a foul mouthed orange dragon for abit before definitely doing some much needed work for the site.

I know that. What I'm saying is that if they are assblasted about this thread then that's the reason why they don't go other places. They can make their own rules there and not be beholden to the /vt/ and Reddit system

Two people (or maybe a samefag) tried to sperg about Null in a /vt/ thread the other day. No one was biting though, because I don't think 99% of them care about a random site admin from a website they probably don't even visit.

What I mean is that it's not just this thread, but other threads as well, and other forums. I've said before that I had used this place for years before I made my account, likewise I have used many different services in my time out on the internet, and something that I took note of was that there's always someone trying to ride the coattails and get noticed. Always replying and always updooting if there's a system for that. It happens on every forum where the owner is usually well liked and active. Being a fly and buzzing around wherever your host goes and being a troll aren't mutually exclusive. Gotta get those scraps from the table to fill your empty life with praise from strangers on the internet lol.

The rest of the entire industry isn't doing even close to that well. She's anomalous. She had 42K people sit and watch her review a 6 year old game yesterday, and nearly broke 100K viewers for her RE7 finale which just does not happen.

Today she had 80K while playing a forgotten PS2 game whilst Kuzuha (23K), Vox (22K), Mysta (11K), Kanae (9K), and Yashiro (7K) were all streaming at the same time (and Sasaki (12K) had just finished). This is to say nothing of all the other members who were pulling perfectly healthy numbers like Fuwa, Himawari, Ike, Marin, Millie, and Rosemi at the same time.

Nijisanji are doing just fine. Don't let anomalies skew your perception of the norm.

Nah, I'm joking. Like I said, I just don't get her. I know that "kind" of character is super popular in Japan, they love the crazy rich girl with ringlets trope, it appears in way too many anime to not be popular. Like you said, probably just doesn't translate very well through clipping and what little Japanese I understand. I'm fine with her being super popular, doesn't really negatively affect me but I'd just like to be able to see the fun as well.

I didn't say they weren't doing "fine" though, just none of them even come close to her, that's all I said. Like lots of others have said in the past. Niji is generally carried by its male talent whilst Holo is carried by its female talent. She's an oddity because she's so huge, like you said, 4 times the number of the closest, and around 9/10 times the number of the closest Niji girl. It's why I just put it down in my head that she was a new version of a previous Vtuber getting a relaunch with Niji because she is such an anomaly compared to their usual stats.

Yeah for real! Do what I do, join the main discords for the talents and play a personal game of 'Where's Waldo' and figure out who the kiwi's are in the masses. More fun that way in figuring out where you might know someone from somewhere else. Isn't that right @msd ?

Nyfco still has nothing on her, at least based on the last time I've checked. There were rumors of her being an ex-idol in a small group, but just rumors. I don't know moonrunes either, so don't trust me, but from what I can gather the appeal isn't that she's a royal girl per se. She's more along the lines of a crude basement dweller from Kansai (read: hicks) living out her dream of being a royal princess with all the stereotypes she would've seen. It's two polar extremes that seemingly work wonders in the source language, especially with her charm.

Choco used to openly talk about her bad dating experiences, loser guys taking her to the pachinko parlor on a date, guys stealing money from her purse, guys who just stared at her boobs the whole date and didn't listen to a word she said etc
Can't even blame her for being a bit menhera and keeping her distance in relationships

If it helps, her character isn't just being an Ojou-sama. It's being an Otaku hiki hick larping as an Ojou-sama that says and does a lot of freaky shit like openly talking about how she pees and showcasing her gastroscopy photos of her insides.

Not directed at you but it sure sounds like a lot of people are just using menhera to refer to any woman that has expectations, realistic or not, on how relationships should be.
