General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I'm actually gonna stop supporting Nijisanji as a company if it's a 3D lmao. Hana and the rest of the girls are already feeling enough insecurity, inferiority complex, and the favoritism that Nijisanji's giving Luxiem. They might as well fucking graduate everyone else who isn't making much money for the company.
Well a lot of them are graduating now no?

3D will generate so much drama and seething from the EN Girls' fans because Luxiem will be cutting the line.
Even holoEN fan will react to this. Thats why i want it to be 3D

Vshojo isn't widely derided by many for no reason. They hired a lot of questionable people (and doubled down on it with veibae) and the only reason they get views on Twitch is because certain companies should have went on the platform as a side gig (like Pikamee is doing) alongside YouTube streams but chose not to - for example Hololive should have trialled it with Coco during the spam issues when YouTube wouldn't do much about it. Vshojo only want lewdtubers that fit in, or else they don't want to work with you.

And let's not forget about all their orbiters who seem to share the same style as vshojo, including the model designs as well. You know, the artgun models that were trash compared to their previous getup. Ironmouse, the only tolerable vshojo member for most people, had a great model before that happened and she now looks like an unoriginal Nyanners clone.

The thing that bothers me the most though is both Hololive and Nijisanji giving them screen time but both of them won't collab together despite it not being an issue with the JP side of things. I'd rather watch Pomu with HoloEN over Nyanners, even if it's a Kiara collab as originally implied before management put a stop to it, thanks.

P.S how's that audition going on? Oh wait they were all a sham and vshitshow already decided who was coming into Melody's clique beforehand (aka their orbiters)...if they accepted it.
Why is veibae hated?

Looks like Luxiem has a big thing coming up next week.

Theories in the comments include either a new song or actual 3D.
Personally hope it isn't actually a 3D debut because it'd be horribly unfair for the other 3 gens, especially Lazulight but I also see Nijistaff actually going through with that after the half-year merch fiasco.
Please let this be actual 3D
Please let this be actual 3D
Please let this be actual 3D

This thread need actual drama again

But isn't this just Niji doing their usual thing? As far as I recall, Njji doesn't debut 3d in chronological order like Holo. The weirder thing, I guess, would be announcing that an entire gen is getting 3d.
They give 3d to whoever reaches 100k subs.
They don't debut it per gen, but they do follow seniority - who ever reached 100k first generally gets to debut 3d first barring special events (like concerts) or someone making way (like Hana who passed on 3d because she was the only ID who will be having a 3d debut during that time)
Luxiem getting 3D is going to fuck with that "line" and it means that Anycolor gives no shits about the 3 other EN gens who got 100k first.

Kronii's roommate did a Q&A with her fans and one guy asked if she's a woman; she said yes. Happened some years ago, so it might have changed.
Mumei has a boyfriend if I'm not mistaken, would be surprised if she didn't have one honestly. Vtuber fans who complain about an entertainer being involved in a relationship is more autistic than 80% of KF.
Mumei as far as I can tell is still with the boyfriend

Hag dog streaming, and she just got the email about her partnership being accepted

SHE GOT IT
LETS GOOOOOOOOO

Oh shit an indie who plays indie games? Also, good choice and taste. Brigador is a fun game where you get to pilot walking war crimes. Fun stuff. I should probably check her out sometime...

Hm... on second thought. Maybe getting into Discord servers would be a terrible idea. Also, whoever peddles porn in Discord is cringe and should relegate themselves to the Chans. That's the type of shit that you SHOULD keep to yourself or with IRL close friends. While Discord is indeed a fun place to hang around with friends where you can talk about pretty much anything, it also rallies people who are like-minded, for better or for worse.

Discord also serves as a handy utility for small companies or groups and can also serve as a news dispensary for happenings and all. That's why small Vtuber corpos/groups use em. They're quite handy. It's also a nice place to interact with your indie or small corpo oshis. But no large corpo would make a dedicated Discord server because holy shit that's a perfect recipe for a shitstorm. A larger audience would mean a larger amount of diversity. If you can't cater to them all, there's bound to be problems. And to preserve the best interests of the majority, it is better to cater to those who can stick to the rules and are actually decent people. Which is hard to find and come across these days. This is also the reason why a lot of fancords exist. And God forbid that they're spearheaded by genuine retards and autists who would be more than willing to cross over the line for whatever purpose or agenda they pursue.

Moving on. I think I'd join Discord servers if they're spearheaded with like-minded people who actually have integrity and sound morals. Speaking from experience. Also, we live double-lives one way or another. That's why we have separate accounts for everything. That's why we use alts. Because the usage of alter egos guarantees that we keep one aspect of our life separate and distinguished from the other. Unless you're Nolan, then I guess you can do you as long as you don't mix up different aspects of your own life in another. Especially if you have dipped your toes in highly-volatile communities which could most likely guarantee a career suicide.

If it is 3d, how would they do it? I'm not familiar with how HoloEN handled their 3d for people not actually in Japan. I don't think it's easy to fly people to Japan at the moment.

EDIT: here are my current ideas:

Low-end speculation: it's just some weird sort of group collab, event, gameshow or something, like NijiEN has kind of done before (thinking back to Rosemi's game show with Lazulight and Obsydia), but being run and promoted by management because they know that people will shill out money during it. Maybe merchandise involved.

Mid-tier speculation: a song. Maybe even with some sort of record unit involvement (Nijisanji does work a lot with Universal), though I'm not sure how well Luxiem would do as an actual musical unit so maybe just a one-off. Songs/units aren't really done on the basis of fairness or seniority, so it wouldn't be unprecedented, though they do usually take singing ability a bit more into mind. They could justify it by saying it's for Hope In the Dark crossing some milestone.

Semi-high end speculation: outfits. Cue up the drama.

High-end speculation: 3d, as everyone has mentioned. More drama.

Found a clip of some popular Japanese entrepreneur (Takafumi Horie) talking about Anycolor going public. No clue what he's saying since I don't speak moonrunes, but apparently he was in prison for fraud in the past, with some people considering it a conspiracy against him.

As funny as Luxiem getting pushed up for 3D would be, I'm hesitant to think they would be that tone deaf after the merch call out. If it does happen I'm definitely curious to see the sperging it would cause and if we'd end up with any drama or convenient leaks afterward.

On a side note that amuses me: Local N-word fish gets front paged lol
Seems to be doing fine and I haven't seen any faggotry from visitors.

I think everyone would be fine if it was just new outfits, considering it's already nearing 7 months. I'm pretty sure everyone in Luxiem aren't really good singers apart from Ike and Luca, but if they pulled off Hope in the Dark, I'm sure they can make another successful song again.

Because nijisanji is better than Hololive.

LUXIEM 3D!LUXIEM 3D! LUXIEM 3D!

Let's get real here no one wants new outfit and new song. Milord wants 3D he deserve it.

I'll stop supporting Nijisanji if they don't give Luxiem the 3D.

niggersanji has way too many talents to give 3d in waves like hololive. they employ like 50 talents a year
"Accelerate" is the name of the game for them

Joke aside, I have a friend who introduced me to VTubers, both Niji and Holo. So a few days ago, I met him again and ask about VTubers stuff. Turns out the dude said he stopped following Niji because they're introducing new talents faster than he become attached to them. Like they don't give anyone an opportunity to know the talents first before introducing new ones. Considering he watched VTubers since before any EN branches, I wonder how many people are just like him

I can still see a new costume reveal being a point of contention for people because both Obsydia and Ethyria haven't gotten theirs yet and the two have already surpassed half a year.
A song might be a possibility too but I think it's kind of dumb to make another original song for a gen where 2/5 members can actually sing and the other gens have a better singer:non-singer ratio (especially Ethyria) and have had no originals yet aside from their debut songs. But then again, Luxiem's the money pig and I wouldn't put that past Anykara.

I know a couple people who have experienced the same and either moved to primarily watching Holo or indies.
But, how I personally view it though is that Nijisanji livers aren't ALL meant to be enjoyed equally and instead are meant to target their own niche.
Like, if you're going into Nijisanji expecting to be able to enjoy each member/gen that comes in, then you're already doing it wrong and just setting yourself up for either disappointment or being overwhelmed.
