General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I think it's less on who you watch regularly and more on who you can at least know a bit about outside of "they exist".
Hololive is definitely easier to get into without being overwhelmed/to be able to support a good handful of talents as they come out because each gen is spaced in a way that you have time to get a feel for the members before another gen comes by.
Meanwhile, Nijisanji rapid-fires members so fast that by the point you had just started to get into to "Gen A" through streams or clips or whatever, "Gen B" had already been announced and set to debut.

But, I also think it is a bit unfair because yeah, if you look at it the other way, I doubt anyone actually gives each member of Hololive the same amount of attention either.

None of what I said states "if you prefer it the other way, you shouldn't watch at all".
You can TRY, and if you can, then good for you but they aren't originally intended to be and newcomers shouldn't be forced to enjoy each gen if they feel they can't because that's what leads to people either getting overwhelmed or disappointed by new gens that aren't as eye-catching to them. If you go into Nijisanji for the first time with the expectation that every member is a fit for you and they aren't, then you can't blame people for being possibly disappointed if they don't because the agency isn't designed that way.
Nobody's really forcing you to go watch gen B the moment they release though, you can just stay with A for as long as you like, and maybe look over at B when you feel like it. If anything it's better to give it time, since Vtubers at debut and Vtubers 6 months down the line are generally nothing alike. Is the issue more along the lines of clippers having short attention spans/a desperate need for clicks, so they do less content for A?

As far as the EN zerg rush, I think AC was trying to make up for international ground lost due to how hard they fucked up their initial EN strategy (or rather its total lack) compared to Cover. If you look at 2022 debuts so far, the numbers are actually fairly similar -- 7 for Holo (ID gen 3, UPROAR), and 9 for Niji (EN gen 5, VTA graduates [VTA started in 2021, so it could be 6 if you really wanted to cope for some reason], Salome). Granted, this could change as the year goes on, but it does seem like it's starting to stabilize. Personally, I'm guessing they'll probably want at least one mixed wave, before giving EN some time for itself.

Imagine if they just debutted a Male gen or a Mixed gen right from the start - like what their fans have told them to do.
Sometimes I wonder if Riku really knows what he is doing

I worded that wrong. I meant more like where did they find this info? There was nothing on her for so long and now a mountain of info.
No clue. I just steal from 4chan and repost it here because mods are trigger happy there

Despite making up less than 1% of the population of this thread, Scuttles are involved in 53% of all arguments.
Really makes you think.
Yup. The majority cannot handle people defending Nijisanji from retarded bullshit.

I have just been informed it may be a pic of Pomu while underaged. Deleting this because no one needs to see this
Checked the Twitcasting and this is from 2016. We don't know her current age so it's difficult to determine her age at this point.

However, her name is Yumemi Hayley, or perhaps that's just a stage name. Either way, she seemed to be a moderately popular solo idol in the Tokyo region between 2015-2017, and had her own original song 'Pattsun Ban Bam Bangs!' which is still available on Spotify.

Here she is in 2017 for a collaboration.

Again. Difficult to determine her age, but at least now we have our Kiara connection.

Quick search lead to 2008's /b/ amateur camwhore by the name Dwarf-chan. Is this Pomu RM or not I have no idea and I'm not autistic enough to compare pixel of eyes, nose structure or moles. My gut tell me /vt/ is just shitting up the pool again though, but you're free to do more research.
Also, the stage name and other past-lives of Pomu is probably true, but that doesn't necessary mean this porn dump is of her. Could be of someone totally different. As of now, there is no connection to tied down her RM with the 2008 person.

So it's either her look alike or her one of her other accounts.

Niji hasn't had a massive, completely out-of-touch, and completely retarded issue like Game Club Project, so Riku "ACCELERATE" Tazumi probably does know something. They can definitely be early trendsetters (after all, Mito pretty much kickstarted widespread Live2D usage), but while doing so, it seems to leave them trying to feel out a light switch in the dark on the management side. Sometimes things work out well, and sometimes it just seems to lead to fuckups like what happened with IN/EN/IN again.

Yeah, that's definitely the issue, the persecution of each and every nijifag. People totally don't have a problem with you specifically.
Well, it's not a big deal if people have a problem with me. I'll continue digging for info, and criticising what I think is fair to criticise, and contesting what I don't think is fair to criticise.

Being in the minority opinion or being seen as some disruptive/hostile force won't change that. The invite-only Discord server should suffice as an echo chamber if people want to use it as such.

Yeah no one watches all of HL lol. Saying that waves that Niji does hurts the livers is wrong imo. It is not really any different than picking and choosing who to watch in Holo.

Of course they do, and Holo fans in this very thread have described HoloEN as 'In need of EN3 to spice things up'.
Those people are Mythtards who want the same honeymoon-phase high from when they first debuted, though they will never get that again no matter how many gens debut.

Council + Hope are great and in many ways better than Myth.

Also I like how we went from in-fighting over arguing dumb shit with Null to in-fighting over tribal shit again.

At least that is somewhat normal, I guess... that being said, I don't see how people can call favoritism over at Niji and ignore the favoritism Myth and HoloX got and get respectively.

Please stop being intentionally obtuse. There's no problem with you having an opposite opinion, there's a consistent problem of you being argumentative for no reason and causing multi-page spergouts over jokes or other such insignificant shit, and then turning around and going "oh why do they persecute me so?". I'll stop shitting the thread up now because none of this will penetrate your autism anyways.
