I love how no matter how the author personally identifies you can ALWAYS tell if its a male or a female writing m/m (or f/f) relationships. As a woman it pisses me off beyond belief what TIMs think a woman is (and that's just the tip of the iceberg of all the other things to be angry about). As someone who got sucked into Touhou gacha, that's just pathetic. Sperging here, but every player is referred to as a girl (for the uninitiated, Gensokyo—where the franchise takes place—has only one somewhat-prominent male character out of over 180 named characters). Given the target audience, most of the demographic are male, and as far as I'm aware no one's raised a bitch fit over being forced into a female POV.

Considering BL started in japan and most BL content is still from there I do wonder sometimes how severe the fujo to aiden pipeline in japanese fandom spaces is.
