Yeah like I said, the criminals just found a way to wash their old money through the accounts of poor people and held assets instead of cash. Holding assets is just smarter than regular cash for that reason. The only way it could backfire is if the government just seized it.I might be late on this, but IIRC it backhanded their economy something fierce. As in it killed their economic growth that would have gotten them up to the “first world” standard by now. They had nothing but a giant clusterfuck from the word go. Sad thing is, they could have just improved the quality of police for once, but no, gotta take the idiot route.
You should probably edit your post. I didn't get informed about you quoting me because the post it links to wasn't done by me. I'm assuming my post where I said raising rates should have been done years ago due to the impending crisis we're now hitting, though? But yeah, shit's going to hit hard and it will not be fun, and the only thing that should surprise anyone is that its so fucking bad the Fed has to raise rates now, just before the midterms, not even afterwards. Yes, shit's that bad if the Fed is choking the economy hard now and not in a few months' time.Regarding your points on inflation, pretty much spot on. Inflation is managed by one thing and one thing only (unless you're Jerome Powell or the Biden admin, then you're just an idiot) and that is monetary policy. Almost 14 or so years of slim to none interest rate hikes by the federal reserve is unexplainable. There's a period where you allow the economy to recover, but that point during the Obama era (but raising interest rates make economy bad and can't do that while a D is in office).
They were beginning raising rates under Trump, but then covid hit and it was a double whammy. Not only did rates go back down, but the money printer go brrrrr was in full effect. Now, the federal reserve is supposed to be a PROACTIVE force and not reactive and this 75 point hike is inconsequential and meaningless. One guy I listen to suspects there are going to be several 100 point hikes in the near future, if not 200+, and I can't really disagree. Powell is blaming the supply chain or some horseshit, which makes no fucking sense but whatever, at the moment we are still chasing inflation which is very very bad.
Same youtube guy I referenced above mentions how one of the good decisions Jimmy Carter made was nominating Paul Volckler to the head of the fed. Because in a similar situation to now, he essentially doubled the fed's interest rate (from around 11% up to 20%) and low and behold inflation began going down. (Who would have thunk?)
Obviously this opens up a new can of worms because the economy WILL be bad, unemployment IS going to increase, and all that fun stuff. Unfortunately, that's the shit we absolutely need to happen to get housing prices into the realm of your average dude again.
The only bright spot is that no matter how much the media will scream the incoming shitshow is Trump/Republican's fault, the blunt impact is going to take place while a Democrat is in office. However, the average person who doesn't sit on CNN/MSNBC/Twitter all day is only to see this shit happened with Biden.
Here's that channel I mentioned. I only found it the other day, but the few I've watched were great.
It gets so much better though. Its not just one big group of retards, it is -multiple- groups of retards with mutually exclusive goals, whose only unifying principle behind their stupid goals is "fuck the regular guy"!I wanted to believe that there was some kind of evil masterplan that was being carried out by competent minions, instead we have retards who through their sheer stupidity are perfectly capable of destroying their nations/fiefs by accident.
I predicted this, and its too early to tell for the reasons I predicted. Oz got in on a -bitter- primary challenge which means his base is currently fractured and in such a state any contender will win if the election were held right after.@Gehenna
What your take on the new PAC poll that shows Pennsylvania going blue for the mid-terms?
It's D+8 but puts puts Fetterman over Oz by +2 and Shaprio over Mastriano b y +4 all this with a 39/54 Biden approval spread.
Is Pennsylvania lost to the GoP no matter what Biden does?
Right but this is how geopolitics work: mutually beneficial arrangements that enrich both (or more) countries. We’ve decided to think geopolitics works based on moral correctness. Little wonder the United States fails at even soft coups now. This was noted in the Ukraine war happenings thread, but part of the reason the Arab countries have been very reluctant to sanction Russia is because Russia is a major source for their basic foodstuffs. With the possibility of global famine, they don't want to rock the boat with Russia now, because the last time there were food shortages in the Middle East the Arab Spring happened.
This can be a positive if they spin it the right way. They can say they make the hard decisions, not the politically convenient decisions. I can see retarded centrists and independents lapping it up.Yes, shit's that bad if the Fed is choking the economy hard now and not in a few months' time.
I'm going to assume nobody close to the Fed levers of power will have the stones like Volckler did in the 70s either. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a Great Depression right there, rather than just stagflation.Regarding your points on inflation, pretty much spot on. And the guys of American Thinker added more on the table about Ashley Biden.Tucker Carlson reads Ashley Biden's shower diary (6:30): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=460LLa5yhEU

Did Ashley Biden reveal her father, Joe, is a creep to the point of pedophilia?
By Andrea Widburg
It’s no secret to anybody paying attention that Joe Biden has an unwholesome obsession with little children, especially little girls. He can’t seem to keep his eyes, his hands, or his nose off them. The Daily Mail has also released text from a diary kept by Ashley Biden, Joe’s drug-addicted, sex-addicted daughter, mentioning inappropriate showers with her father at a young age that may have led to her unhealthy sexual obsessions. Tucker Carlson, upon learning of this, launched an incendiary attack against Biden, the system that’s long protected him from closer scrutiny, and the DOJ and FBI harassing journalists for investigating the story.
Both of Biden’s living children—Hunter and Ashley—have substance abuse problems. What’s less well known is that they both suffer from sex addictions. Hunter has never admitted to this addiction but the contents of his hard drive make it patently clear that sex (and his own genitals) are obsessions with him. Moreover, because sex triggers the pleasure centers in the brain, it can be as much an addiction as drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.
As for Ashley, she has acknowledged having a sex addiction, at least in the diary she left behind in a halfway house. A Florida woman found the abandoned diary and tried to sell it, which was an unprincipled act but not an illegal one. Nevertheless, Joe sicced the FBI on the woman and on Project Veritas—even though Project Veritas tried to return the diary to Ashley Biden (and was refused because her representatives didn’t want to acknowledge that it was hers) as well as trying to give it to law enforcement (which is more than the New York Times would have done had it ever found something compromising about Trump’s children).
Now that the Daily Mail is starting to reveal the contents, it’s obvious why the diary is such a hot button for the Biden family:
The diary's explosive contents include Ashley's speculation that showering with her father, then-Senator Joe Biden, as a young girl may have contributed to her sex addiction.
'I remember having sex with friends @ a young age; showers w/ my dad (probably not appropriate),' she wrote in a January 2019 entry.
[snip]
The president's daughter wrote that she was 'hyper-sexualized [at] a young age', details her chronic drug abuse, affairs outside her marriage, how her finances were 'down to the wire' and how she made Joe cry with worry over her ahead of a Democratic primary debate.
The difference there is Korean cops aren't afraid of beating the shit out of someone disregarding the rules.Yeah, probably but I'll just ignore the COVID rules like I did here in the states.
Does Camp David even get used anymore? Trump preferred Mar-a-Lago.
Why is this all coming out now? We have had the diary for months. And the guys of American Thinker added more on the table about Ashley Biden.

I’d be shocked if the fed really got serious about inflation and raised rates 2% at one meeting. I think they’re going to be reluctant to go over 3% which will bring g the worst of both worlds. Low enough to not affect inflation much and high enough to kill all these businesses reliant on 0 or near 0 interest rates.Regarding your points on inflation, pretty much spot on. Is it too far-fetched to think this as a sort of bad omen coming for Biden?
It's symbolic for his administration. Is it too far-fetched to think this as a sort of bad omen coming for Biden?
Honestly I don’t think this war ends without the collapse of the Putin regime, possibly with his death of rumors of his ill health are to be believed.
Like, they have no win condition here. Even if they reclaim Ukraine, so what? They’ll still be blackballed from the global economy, and they still will have suffered an embarrassing military campaign that humiliated them on the world stage. On the other hand, I certainly do not see Putin backing down and bowing to NATO.
I think the only way this ends is an internal coup with Putin as the fall guy who all the blame for the war is placed on. If this doesn’t happen, I’m sure Putin is more than happy to take the world economy down with Russia.
