My comment is more about how unoptimized his code is and how difficult it is to integrate into other emulators. Also his insistence on doing everything from scratch instead of just fixing the old, established emulators. Also his obsessive-compulsive urges to abandon projects and start something from scratch yet again. Also him hoarding ROMs.

This wasn't some dignitas shit, this was someone offing themselves at the end of their tether - having dealt with suicide both personally, and professionally, I can tell you those that carry it out or attempt it tend to do so in an isolated place, by themselves. It's almost shameful. Those that do public displays are 9 times out of 10 not attempting to kill themselves in a serious sense, but instead just doing a suicidal gesture. So the story provided was atypical at best, but in reality just completely nonsensical.

Plus, if byuu duped him why would byuu also stipulate that the evidence byuu provided of his own death not be allowed into the public? It's not as if scrutiny of it would be any more damning than the current situation.

If Byuu is dead then why can't we see a grave stone or a marker for him? Did Hector Martin ever do a memorial service for his dead friend? You'd think he would because he cares so much about him.
