Only thing bad about this book is that you cannot can meat with water baths. That was fucking retarded. It has to be pressure canning and preferably following a recipe from people who know what they are doing.
Great point. I won’t be parted from my All-American pressure canner. Although I just checked their site and holy shit, the prices are way up and they are totally out of stock.

If you can muster the scratch and come across one, you will not be disappointed.

My great grandma used to water bath can her chicken and never had a problem. I’m not brave enough to emulate her though.

Biden administration emphasized its willing to consider any and all solutions to ongoing inflation crisis

There really is no hope for these people. We are literally governed by retards.

Gas prices are high due to unprecedented supply demand. Post pandemic surge, combined with braindead green energy schemes and a war in Europe has severely stressed supply, causing prices to spiral upwards.

So dear reader, what do you think will happen if the government gives every American what amounts to "free" gas?

it also doesnt makes sense, the premium for canned meat is very low and you can just make jerky from fresh wild meat.

Biden (or his handlers) either truly believe that they can infinitely print money, or that they are deliberately malicious.
Just wait till it turns out this gas card is a "loan" or will be "taxed".
And all this money that is being stolen from us there's fuck nothing we can do about it. Because enough of the American populace has decided this is somehow okay. We have long ceased to stand up against the government and it's abuses.
Tolerance (and I dare add, apathy) is the death of a society.

We aren't governed by retards. Stop with that narrative. Our politicians are not incompetent, retarded, or any of that, they are straight up evil. They know exactly what they're doing. They want bad things to happen to you because it benefits them, even something as simple as seeing the annoyed faces of the plebs as they pay out the ass for gas (all the better if you're wearing a Chinkflu mask, they LOVE that sort of humiliation). Remember, it's OUR (read: their) Democracy, not just plain old "democracy."

At an average gas price of $5/gallon, the amount wasted on Hunter Biden's Slavic Funland if given to Americans would come to 8.2 billion gallons of gas. Which sounds like a lot but that's only like 30-40 gallons of gas per citizen who owns a car so like 3-4 weeks of gas for my old Japanese economy car and 3-4 days of gas for the country club Republicans and their shitty SUVs. And that's before mandatory government deductions like 1 billion dollars to an NGO to "study" how to increase electric car adoption among undocumented transgender Latinx people and grants to Middle Eastern countries for gender studies programs.

European gas bills are going to be absolutely insane. They'll probably have tiers where once you go over a certain amount a multiplier is applied. Boy that dovetails nicely with carbon pricing doesn't it?
My state announced that starting January 1st for electricity. No one really noticed, I'm eagerly awaiting summer, however.

It's both.

Biden's admin is full of hardcore Keynesians. Keep demand high, economy will follow and the recession will be delayed till past elections (if we hit recession pre-election, Biden's presidency will be over, and if it hits before mid-terms Democrats control in congress is Fucked). So they're going to be trying real fucking hard to go balls to the wall with government spending ASAP and until the next Presidential election.

They want fuel costs to be painful. It has to be in order to accelerate the change to rolling blackouts for everyone but them and the rich who will have fuel generators and the means to pay to run them "green" energy.

But they overshot. Came out too hostile to gas, and didn't anticipate prices going so high that people are turning on them politically en masse. They were thinking "Obama era high", like $3.00 - $3.50, not "holy fuckballs" $6.50 and up.

So fuel cards get them the best of both worlds (in terms of what they think will happen, not what will actually happen). They get that sweet, sweet government spending and blunt the impact of high fuel costs temporarily (expect them to start going out 4-8 weeks before the election).

Of course the most likely situation we can predict, (those of us who haven't drank the kool-aid), is going to be a severe recession coupled with massive inflation instead of the normal deflationary affect of recessions with their policies only making it worse. Supply is constrained by outside factors - it can't be increased to keep up with demand, and demand won't fall enough (more like they won't let it fall enough) to balance out.

How could this mess get better?

SHIPPING PRICE CONTROLS

Because remember, they won't just refuse to service us, that's an unintended consequence and we all know that shit never happens. No, they'll HAVE to perform the exact same service just without making any money. Saint Biden the Clueless has said so!

Aren’t most of the shipping companies foreign? They’ll just tell Biden to fuck off and deliver to other countries. Amazon and Apple would probably have him killed if he tries to fuck with their deliveries of plastic goods.

Canned chicken is pretty expensive here in the US because of the bird flu and it is where it can be cheaper just to can it yourself if you know how to smart shop. In general, it is just a good skill to know - how to properly can meat. I am a bigger fan though of curing and/or smoking it because you use way less of it and it lasts a very long time.

Yup, basically. It's the impending return of the left's eternal nemesis: The unintended consequences of their stupid fucking ideas.

50+% are european with the rest mostly beeing asian. US companies are less than 1% of container shipping.

Also commercially canned meat often has a ton of salt and of phosphates in it, which isn’t really necessary. I find home canned meat tastes better, and you can use the broth to make gravy or sauce, which you would not want to do with other canned meat.
