Meh, childcare jobs are shit-paying drudgery. I would be very suspicious of any man willing to pick such a shit-paying line of work. Few exceptions might include college students who are trying to get relevant hours in a field related to their line of study.
Women do it because they don't have other options. Childcare is often seen as "dumb women's work", so it pays crap. Men do it because--- why?
It seems there's always a few articles in the news about some male childcare worker molesting children. The boss who discriminates against men probably had a few negative experiences-- and he'd rather risk appearing to be prejudiced rather than have his facility in local news about kiddie diddling, or be sued by a parent. More men have developed bizarre sex kinks due to internet porn in the past few decades, including an increasing interest in child-related porn and fetishes.
Quite a few of these MTFs have spent years being indoctrinated by Red Pill and MGTOW type sites and forums. They fully believe women "so much privilege!" compared to men, so they likely get irate when they don't feel as if they're getting the "easy life" and "acceptance" they believe all women are somehow given.

If I was a dude looking for shit paying no qualification jobs I would be a site labourer- at least you’re outside, can have a laugh, and can move up via on the job training which u can then easily apply to a day time course, make connections and shift along.
As a woman, who doesn’t have a lot of the physical strength needed, the same kind of entry level, always vacancies jobs are energy-suck care jobs where yous re pretty much stuck there forever- you’re not shifting up because there is such a lack of people to take the positions.
Kids take a vast amount of constant energy. There’s a whole bunch of rules and regs for obv reasons.

There is no need for a dude to do that. Even one who is kinda soft and likes kids and doesnt fit in on a site, in sheer terms of what’s the best for himself, would be better to tough it out, fake it til he makes it and labour for a while to get himself into a better spot. That or do a teaching or nursing degree if he really wants to work with kids.
Nursery nurse jobs should be paid more as it’s a very important point of child development/ but they aren’t.
As a woman I worked in jobs like that now and then before I was was qualified for much else. I’d have happily don’t soemthing else, but little building comapnies are still low key pretty sexist and don’t want a random girl there - also there is a strength issue.
It is a bit sus for a dude to do it.
A lot of sound guys do go in for it and they shouldn’t be judged but just on the data available, there will always be a certain percentage of males who go In for this who.. it just doesn’t really add up.
