What fashion trends do you think suck?

This is old news at this point but it’s still very much a thing and I still hate it

I’ve seen a couple that look OK but 9.9/10 times it doesn’t look good, especially when the dye fades
I agree. The skunk stripe is some basic bitch shit and it's barely in style. It's so 2018. Shit, it didn't even look good back then.

Tumblr nose.
Tumblr nose makeup makes everyone look like they’re having an allergy attack or a chronic alcoholic, now it’s been merged into e girl makeup so the tumblr nose lives on.

Don’t know why people ever thought that was cute.

Adding onto this, nose contour that looks like this. It's embarrassing. I see so many girls with this stupid 'button nose' trend and it looks like you've just shoved your nose in shit.

This is probably the tism, but one thing I've never really understood is how people decide what's going to be a fashion trend, or how someone can be like "that's so 2019" or w/e just by looking at someone who to me might look trashy but otherwise look like any other person in Current Year. It just all seems so arbitrary.

Idk, I guess outside of shit like cosplay clothes to me are primarily practical.

I started dressing like Steve Jobs (black top, black bottom, maybe a cardigan, sensible shoes) years ago and it's been so liberating not having to think about fashion bullshit.

I'm sooo glad I "missed out" on the social media nonsense that females younger than me feel pressurized by nowadays. But I'm also confounded and amused by what they think "looks good" when it's just recycling horrible trends from yesteryear and somehow making them worse.

There was a trend a few years back that still bothers me to this day:

Like, full on, butts hanging out of grody, cut-off jean shorts. If men did this they'd immediately be expelled from whatever public place they were in (and rightfully so). But how Gen Z'ers got away with this for as long as they did confounds me to this day. I just think it was the general age of the ladies doing so, and the cucked managers of the stores being too horny/too lame to do anything about it.

But what actually truly terrifies me about this trend is this: If this trend does kick in again, you just know the troons will exploit it. And even though they are biological males they will absolutely use their "female/troon privilege" to get away with wearing this stuff. Makes me MATI just thinking about it.

Clothing that has the brand name or logo all over it. One small logo on the sleeve or whatever is fine but when the main design is just "BRAND" in large, that annoys me.

I'm not a billboard. If I'm going to walk around advertising a company on my clothing then they should be paying me. I find it crazy how so many others eat it up and take pride in spending more than they need on a piece of clothing just because it has a specific word on it.

I'm not counting jerseys, alumni and sports/social club clothing because at least these typically have a personal connection to the wearer (though the pricing can be just as outrageous).

Acrylic nails. You can tell women with super long nails with elaborate designs don't work for a living. There's just no way they do any real work with those claws, they can barely even press buttons. While we're on the subject of fake shit, false eyelashes that are super long are ugly as all hell. Just wear mascara like everyone else.

What they hell is with this generations taste?
I feel like being a stinker.
What the fuck happened to shoes? I searched for Timberland, Bass..etc...
Enjoy:

I know I already mentioned it in another thread, but knee socks were always so weird. Your legs are warm but thighs are cold, what's the point?
They became somewhat popular when I was a teen, but it was something that only sluts wore. And I agree, those socks give you whorish vibes for some reason.

I had a friend give me some shit the other day because I almost exclusively wear black bottoms + a black top + white shoes and then use a coat/jacket/beanie/scarf/accessories to add colour to my outfit.

I literally do not see the problem with not wanting to look like I just picked up every item at random and throwing it on with out care for composition.

I really hate how younger people wear pastel pink and neon green with acid wash, it's awful like a baby prostitute clown.

I am a fan of leggings and a t-shirt that might as well be a dress though because it's comfy as hell so maybe I deserve the hate.

Just today I was sitting in a restaurant waiting for my food to come when a girl with sport shorts basically shoved up her asscrack wedged by my table and stood in my view waiting to make an order.
Bitch, I know it's hot out but have some decency. People don't need to see the zone from the tops of your boobs to about two inches above your knees. That's my hardline and I'm sticking to it.

I've always been pro-uniform for schools. Girls always pushed the boundaries too far with their butt shorts and cut-out-side t-shirts in a dumb attempt for the attention of boys. Just give the girls a cute enough uniform and they might actually want to wear it.

I could almost guarantee you that this shapeless trash is getting pushed because it's that much easier and faster to sew/design and therefore saves pennies on the dollar per yard of fabric. I hate it.
you also get the constant "dressed in lala" ads? can't believe people actually spend hundreds of dollars on these outfits (only the crop top one looks passable imo)
