Their "No Original Research" policy is a complete joke. I bet you that even if Byuu showed up to these editors' houses, they would still go, "Nuh-uh! These journalists say otherwise!"
All a "reliable source" is to a Wikipedo is a source that tells the lies they want to publish.
Also, faking ones death for real is REALLY hard, requires tons of money and resources and in the end there still will be people, who will try to reveal the truth.
It's not that hard when you have an audience of credulous morons who will believe literally anything.

Note, Japan does have professionals who will disappear you. Japanese sometimes do this when in levels of debt that are either seen as shameful, or as actually dangerous (i.e. owing it to the Yakuza).

Should go to twitter and type "byuu" into search and click latest. Quite a few people calling him out on his bullshit, both original skeptics and other allies.
lol. lmao, even.

"lmao just go dox byuu and get him to make a statement it's not hard"
get cancer and fuck off

The problem with these retards is "trust the government" unless it is something they don't like. The US State department NEVER publishes real names tied to any deaths they publish for privacy reasons. Why would they? It falls into a gray area of HIPPA and protected information where you are stating someones death, the date, and the cause. Usually requests for this information are provided to authorized sources (Insurance, Next of Kin, Funeral Directors, Government Officals, etc.) and would never be provided to common public individuals.

I know individuals in those areas I could ask to search for the death certificate, insurance claim, etc., but it would jeopardize their license or position through inquiry. I will make some inquiries about it and see what I can find.

Yeah, but it's not witness protection, where they just put you somewhere else under a different name, one will have to live in a litteral dump for the rest of their sorry life and as we know, Byuu had no reasons to go that far and he is too much of a faggot to give away comfortable life. Also, there is a question if they would agree to help filthy gaijin, who would be near(lol) impossible to hide among japs anyway.

They’re the ones hoping in the face of all evidence that he died horribly in mental agony while his friends listened in because it serves their agenda, and we’re the ghouls?

“Hi Byuu, you know how you faked your own death specifically to get at Kiwi Farms? Well, we need you to make a statement saying you’re alive.”
I don’t know if this person is naive, stupid or so desperate to believe that they deliberately set an impossible goal. I’m actually fine with it, the more people coming up with asinine arguments like this, the easier it is to convince normies that Byuu is still alive.

I just had a question I hadn't thought of before, would anyone have a way to publicly know if Byuu was serving a custodial sentence in Japan? They take their IP seriously and we know he was flying close to the sun. If he had to take a plea deal and do some time, a lot of the more confusing aspects of this begin to make sense. While unnatural deaths are reported, criminals going to jail is a lot less of an event, even when they are foreign. It explains the confidence his associates have in him not springing up somewhere, despite definitive proof he did not kill himself. If you're depressed, unstable, and about to go to prison the "cost" of behavior like this becomes much easier to rationalize.

There would still be news about this from gaming sites and communities. Can't exactly hide something like an foreigner getting arrested for shit relating to emulators that's legal in Byuu's home country and to expect it not to appear on even the emulation community.

I knew that dates on the State Department’s website would be a giveaway, but I think we found another thing Byuu and Wayne and Hector overlooked in their proofs.

Edit: would Wayne qualify as an authorized source because of being Byuu’s employer? I’m not too familiar with that guy.

I mean I could see US corporate interests pressuring prosecution to make keeping things quiet part of a deal to prevent the issue from getting a Striesand Effect. If they just want him to do five years they put a flag on his passport, make him aware they have enough to put him away for twenty, and if he wants out this decade he'll keep his head down and play ball the way they want him to. It doesn't matter what his "home's" laws are, he was in Japan. A strange/fake suicide doesn't have market implications so they would be unlikely to care.

You know, this all makes sense in the context of Null’s speculation of “The Byuu/Near persona needs to be completely destroyed, how can that be done?”

That's an awful lot of stuff to make up, when everything can be explained by what we know for sure: some faggot(s) thought a hoax suicide could be used to shut down this website.
