This should come as no surprise to anyone. They’re the ones who keep bringing it up because they have to. They have it keep the narrative fresh and remind everyone of it because it’s all they have left.
And this is something I pray to Yog-Sothoth for every single day. This should come as no surprise to anyone. They’re the ones who keep bringing it up because they have to. They have it keep the narrative fresh and remind everyone of it because it’s all they have left.
All it takes to knock down that house of cards is the appeals to come back in Vic’s favor. That’s all it’s going to take for these idiots to taste sulfur.
How do you get worse slurs than a sentence that almost entirely consists of the words "faggot" and "fag?"
And yet they keep claiming to be "done" with Vic and he can go on with his life. This should come as no surprise to anyone. They’re the ones who keep bringing it up because they have to. They have it keep the narrative fresh and remind everyone of it because it’s all they have left.

Sadly dubs that surpass the sub like Cowboy Bebop are the exception not the rule. Most anime titles when it comes to the sub or dub comes down more to personal taste depending on the series.Alright I'm gonna end the argument on subs vs dubs because I clearly am the most cultured of the weebs. (Joking, I'm a degenerate.)
In some cases, subs are better. That rings true for a lot of today's anime drops and some vintage ones.
But there are some cases where the dub is king. Trigun doing so well with the English cast, Cowboy Bebop is another one that did better. Hellsing (iirc) had a more successful dub, FMA's English dub definitely drove its popularity up.
I'd also like to give a shout out to the Latin American Spanish dub of DragonBall, the French dub of Captain Harlock (Albator) for having such heavy impacts on the culture of their respective regions.
There's definitely more dubs that could be considered iconic or even better than their original Japanese airing, but it isn't a rule of thumb. That's why it's worth going case by case instead of playing for one team or the other. Besides, it saves you from looking like a complete sperg.
And since Sony is gobbling up more anime distribution companies, I think it'll get worse.Sadly dubs that surpass the sub like Cowboy Bebop are the exception not the rule. Most anime titles when it comes to the sub or dub comes down more to personal taste depending on the series.
However there’s no denying that the overall quality of dubbing has been stagnant in recent years but that’s something that the fans who simp for the people who make dubs will never acknowledge because being accepted and approved by the clique is more important to them then advocating for better quality standards in the industry.

I don't touch anything that's been released in the last ten years for that reason. But there are still classic gems to uncover that aren't too bad.And since Sony is gobbling up more anime distribution companies, I think it'll get worse.
There are probably older, "hidden gem" anime that have never received a dub nor been released internationally. But there are still classic gems to uncover that aren't too bad.
There's definitely a market for it. Especially the old school mecha shows that didn't get enough love. There are probably older, "hidden gem" anime that have never received a dub nor been released internationally.
Hypothetically speaking, if Vic were to found a production company, research such titles to find quality shows, buy the license for them (honestly I don't see Crunchyroll/Funimation, Aniplex, ViZ, or even Diskotek going through such effort), produce a quality dub for them and release them, there could be money to be had. Sure, it'll be a niche market but it will give VAs unaffiliated with the cliques a chance to cut their teeth and gain experience.

In the end it all comes down to taste. As it was said, there are those on both sides of the aisle that have a bias for their preference so no matter how bad/good it might actually be their bias is still superior to them and for those people we ignore and call retards. While I couldn't tell you which more recent dubs are good or not since I sub more than I dub, I do worry about the scripts as more left/swjs/tumblertards/etc make their way into the industry but that is the case for the whole entertainment industry.Sadly dubs that surpass the sub like Cowboy Bebop are the exception not the rule. Amber Heard is a perfect example of why your statement is rainbow worthy. All it takes to knock down that house of cards is the appeals to come back in Vic’s favor. That’s all it’s going to take for these idiots to taste sulfur.
If you're going to use Depp, then I think it's less rainbowy than you think it is.Amber Heard is a perfect example of why your statement is rainbow worthy.
Mentally ill people like them are detached from reality, all they acknowledge is their own truth and not what's actual reality. I can bet you a hundo that even if Vic won his civil defamation case that they would never leave his gay pants wearing ass alone. They would hound him until the universe itself ceased to be and we all die of heat death.
You know how it is: you spend long enough lying that eventually you start to believe in your own lies to perpetuate your narrative.
Regardless of how the trial goes (if it ever goes to trial in the first place), you know that they won't leave him alone and won't let it go and accept their loss. It doesn't matter how much proof is stuffed down everyone's throats that Sabbat and co initiated a character assassination on him. They're going to continue to go on social media and spout nonsense about him being a rapist and blame his supporters for enabling him and helping him win. Doesn't matter if the majority disagrees with them, all they need is at least one person buying what they're peddling for them to keep going as they are doing now. After the TCPA hearing, they had no reason to continue to attack his character, yet they continue to do so and despite all their talk about wanting to move on, clearly they don't want to and have no intention of doing that. Why continue to linger on and talk about an issue that for all intents and purposes should've been laid to rest?If you're going to use Depp, then I think it's less rainbowy than you think it is.
Assuming it comes back on appeal, that means we finally get to trial, and I see it going well for him unless we get some truly damning evidence against him. And I mean something really bombshell, like videos or photos of him fucking a kid, not the bogus bajillion defamatory affidavits and witnesses they'll inevitably try to call up just to make him look bad.
Depp got a pretty decisive victory over Heard, and the years leading up to to the verdict was a Sparrow Man Bad narrative. A lot of media channels are still going to bat for Amber Turd, but the vast, vast majority of people aren't buying what they're selling.
I can see something similar to Vic if he gets a favorable appeal and hopefully victory. He already has a large, vocal fanbase that will wave money at conventions that invite him, and money is more than enough to cause a paradigm shift if his suit goes well for him.
If being the operative term.
I mean, there's always going to be a small blob of psychos, no matter the outcome, just like there's a bunch of people still defending Heard.Regardless of how the trial goes (if it ever goes to trial in the first place), you know that they won't leave him alone and won't let it go and accept their loss. Like Depp, I don't believe Vic would continue to send lawsuits over and over again every time they want to defame him, but the point is that it won't stop them from doing it anyway. They won't ever leave him alone until he kills himself, and even then, they'll gleefully celebrate and lord over his death and use it as some confirmation of his guilt.
There are differences between Depp and Vic to consider though that makes a big difference. Depp is a rich man with lots of substantial evidence, backing from people in and out of his industry, and his trial live for the world to watch. Vic on the other hand is not rich, has very few who are openly backing him, and not well known enough for a lot of people to watch a trial for it if ever goes to one.I mean, there's always going to be a small blob of psychos, no matter the outcome, just like there's a bunch of people still defending Heard.
I think you're overestimating how much it will matter if a jury comes back with the verdict of "lol, liars." A big portion of why Vic's destruction grew wings was because his employer and two of his coworkers threw in their lies into the pile, which in turn lent legitimacy to the other claims. If Vic attacks Monica in his hotel and batters Jamie in the funimation lobby, why wouldn't he drag underage girls into his hotel room or try to sexually proposition 9-year-old Wonder Womans?
But the reverse also works. If the jury declares Monica, Jamie, Ron, and Funimation to be liars, do you think conventions are going to believe that some bipolar mess like Manjawlo got her ass grabbed? Yes, there are always going to be faggoty conventions that won'y invite Vic just because, but the conventions that have any kind of business sense will see they don't have a good reason to not invite him, and every reason to.
As for why they continued to attack Vic after the TCPA bounced his lawsuit, it's simple. They're monsters who will kick a man when he's down, plus they're butthurt that Rekieta calls them fat. Since they can't target Nick, who's self employed and whose bar laughs out bogus ethics complaints, they'll go for a vulnerable target.
Let’s be honest, the convention scene and most of the anime dubbing industry is run like a small mafia when it comes to people like Vic or anyone accused/guilty of political wrongthink. There are differences between Depp and Vic to consider though that makes a big difference. Depp is a rich man with lots of substantial evidence, backing from people in and out of his industry, and his trial live for the world to watch. Vic on the other hand is not rich, has very few who are openly backing him, and not well known enough for a lot of people to watch a trial for it if ever goes to one.
For Vic's income (anime wise, I don't know his other sources of income), there is more to consider than Depp. Unless he starts his own dubbing company, no one (or at least very few) will consider him for VA work since the majority is run by and filled with the very people that is trying to ruin/kill him. A handful of cons seem to run like the media, they'll back the "victim" no matter what but they'll never back the victim and others may or may not cave to the onslaught of retards on social media demands. We have seen that if cons have certain VAs or companies, they will use their influence and "concern for safety" to pull out if cons dare think of having Vic anywhere near. I'm sure I could come up with more but I guess my point is, if Vic wins in appeals/trial he'll still have a lot of hurdles to overcome. I'm still optimistic for Vic's victory so sorry if I sound too negative.
