Looking at it objectively, Desantis is a much younger Trump without the baggage. Maybe even too young. I think the ideal scenario is Trump 2024/Desantis 2028, but at the same time I also think Desantis (with Trump’s support of course) is objectively the more electable Republican candidate in 2024, in that he satisfies both the Ultra MAGA’s and muh mean tweets centrist cucks.
Ok! *Beckons you over to look under the hood* I think I found why your country won't start or run anymore.
Between sets of squats and pullovers, my bro and I were discussing the huge divide between how the younger and older generations view politics. I see more young men, especially men, hate all of them and basically vote out of spite, whilst the older Boomers and Millennials still treat politicians like celebrities or deities, and many of the younger crowd see politics pandering to the old fucks and really fucking hate it because it makes their future bleaker by the day.
As more of Gen Z, like the 2000's and up kids, are becoming able to vote shit will get really strange really fast, and 2024 will be so crazy that both 2016's and 2020's election will look like patty cake in comparison.
WHERE ARE THE LABELS?
Going to high school reunions is for faggots. He's better off being basedOne of my dads friends had a high school class reunion up in Wisconsin. Poor dude got teamed up on by all his boomer former classmates for daring to say Biden’s economy sucks and that Trump wasn’t that bad of a president. He was frustrated as fuck even a day after about how people he knew as his friends once could be so stupid and delusional.
Part of me wishes that 2022 will be Redwave but then again there is just too many indoctrinated status quo shitlib and neocon golf playing and scotch chortling boomers who don’t have to worry about the problems of us peons. Maybe I’m just getting too blackpilled bros![]()
They're gonna fortify.
AP: Biden’s optimism collides with mounting political challengesThe DNC says it has never been larger, with 450 staff members on state party payrolls, or sported a more robust ground operation. It also raised $213 million so far, a midterm record. But DNC Chair Jaime Harrison nonetheless appeared to be trying to head off concerns donors’ contributions might be going to waste, saying, “We’re not promoting it all over the place.”
“When you’re in the Super Bowl, do you think the coach puts all their plays up on Twitter, and says, ’Here’s what we’re going to run?,” Harrison said at a Los Angeles fundraiser with Biden last weekend. “No. We don’t put all of our stuff out there.”
He said the group is building out an operation “to make sure that, when those close elections happen November, we win them.”
I’m going to guess that those who said Dems are out of money and favors were wrong, huh?AP: Biden’s optimism collides with mounting political challenges
Gee, I wonder what he could mean by that last line?
Ann & Bill stuff
Except all the people coping and seething how Trump only won because "russians hacked the elections". I think 2016 started that trend more than 2020 and like you said its only gonna get worse now.Even in 2016, no one said the institution was broken. They accepted Trump won and won fairly under the rules of the system
They literally, to this day, claim that some sort of Russian Psychic Weapon caused the disconnected Voting machines to count the votes for Trump instead of Queen Hillary, Peace Be Upon Her.Even in 2016, no one said the institution was broken. They accepted Trump won and won fairly under the rules of the system but in 2024 that ain't going to happen. No matter what half of Americans will not accept the results in 2024. If the GoP wins the Dem's and their lapdogs will scream that it's all fake and fraud and that the will of the people has been subverted ect ect. Ditto goes if the Dem's wins.
No one in 2016 said the institution was broken? Democrats tried to stop Alabama from certifying electors, you had the DNC pushing for faithless electors to not cast votes for Trump. You had celebrities doing a commercial pleading to electors to not vote for Trump. You had Hillary, the DNC, and media telling everyone the Russians interfered and stole the election, to the point to this day a huge portion of Democrats believe the Russians hacked the voting machines and changed votes to Trump. The Democrats have said Republicans have stolen every single election for the last 50 years, not to even get into 2000 and 2004 where Democrats said Florida and Ohio were stolen from them. Republicans have accepted every single Democrat president as a legit winner besides 2020 with Biden. The elephant is in the room, the thing no one wants to really talk about it the bare fact that in 2024 no matter which side wins half of America will think that the elections is fraudulent.
GoP or Dems, the losing side will feel and think that the election was stolen, falsified, fortified what ever you want to call it.

I just don't see a way to fix this. In my mind in 2024 the America Experiment will be over as I just can't see a a way forward. Short of a Jesus type figure who can somehow unify both sides their will be a catastrophic split.
The worse part is the MSM will be the ones to really benefit from this. The outrage articles will flow like a river and they will reap the rewards of eyeballs, clicks and funding. It really hurts because its the MSM that is mostly responsible for the atmosphere of hatred and mistrust that covers America. They've fostered it, nurtured it and once everything breaks apart they will harvest the money that flows out from society.
I won't pretend to know what happens after 2024 but I will wager that no one will like it.
I think the initial powerplay Obama had with twitter has worn off, and with those who grew up with social media especially the class divide between political actors and "us" are less obvious. People with even a cursory knowledge [of politics] will hear about the dumb social media slapfights, blunders (following/RT porn accounts) and it does not have an effect of making them relatable just like "us", but instead questions their qualifications to lead "us". Cultural knowledge about how meaningless it is for the well connected to attend, graduate, and get successive degrees at ivy leagues (and in what? law? english?) doesn't hold much weight when they communicate in discourse that's hardly erudite and have little regard for the laws of their own country. Speaking in simple terms was advantageous for Bush Jr and other heartland winners in the TV era, but I think the information overload we live in has blurred old lines and could eradicate the divine right to rule of these families.I see more young men, especially men, hate all of them and basically vote out of spite, whilst the older Boomers and Millennials still treat politicians like celebrities or deities, and many of the younger crowd see politics pandering to the old fucks and really fucking hate it because it makes their future bleaker by the day.
Either she got the memo from the party to let Biden / whoever run unopposed, or she knows 2024 will be a slaughter. Or she's lying. You never know with her!
Its the second. There is a reason she never actually announced. Everything she was doing was to float the idea and begin to use her political analysts to read the data and see what they get. Very clearly, she decided the political winds were not in her favor. She's lying through her teeth; she knows she has higher approval than Heels-up Harris and that Biden is past his best-by date.
Everyone here is forgiven for thinking so, but thats not what that tweet was about. The article it links to is this one:

Which if you read through can basically be summarized as "Cope and motivation". The tweet is, in a word, clickbait. Meant to get lefties to click going "PLEASE YES GIVE ME GOOD NEW!" and then the actual article doesn't actually say that and instead describes a rousing method of how Biden will totally be able to bring everything back on track.
This is them trying desperately to get any sort of voter enthusiasm back, not them actually predicting a win cheated or otherwise.
