Miriam and Ilana (Jonathan's aunt) charged with assaulting police (w/weapon), resisting arrest, and uttering threats.. NEW CIVIL LOLSUIT. - Jonathan charged with criminal defamatory libel 6/9/22

It appears that Jonathan is being charged with defamatory libel under Canadian Criminal Code 301 stemming from the aftermath of ILana and Miriam's arrest.

I believe this is the offending Tweet.

Here is a list of all possible Tweets.
Yeah, but do you really think they'd give a shit? They're the police.
It's Canada. It's all fun and games until someone's feelings get hurt.
...and is further evidence that the local cops are done with Fatboy. They're so done that they'll even pursue libel charges.
I'm trying to direct traffic back to this thread now that we know it's related to this incident.

It's also very interesting that just 4 days after being charged, Jon threatened the Post Millienial reporter with defamation.

Monkey see Monkey do.

I was gonna say he still isn’t going to jail but who knows. Maple land could be one of those weirdo backwards countries where assault and rape are considered banal, but don’t you fucking dare say something mean or defamatory. Looking right at you, Euro Kiwis.
Capone went down for tax evasion, right?

Use whatever works.

God I wish this faggot lived in the US. He could do with some police brutality.
Unfortunately he wouldn't be arrested for criminal libel here. There are still actually a handful of such statutes around but they're either facially unconstitutional or practically impossible to break.

Now Jonny deserves everything he’s getting and I am definitely not ACAB, but it’s sad that Johnny has libeled so many people it’s impossible to keep count and there is nothing they could do. But the second he targets a cunstoble then “oh no, you can’t say mean things about our cops, didn’t you see the rainbow flag on our cars? Hold this phat lawsuit”.

Normally I would roll my eyes at any liable cases as in the home of the free, land of the whopper, libel cases are extremely hard to win. However in Canacuckland, I do believe that the RMCP will easily win this.

and if the Canadians are anything like in America, because Johnny made the complaint public ally, that officer would’ve had to be placed on some sort of leave (whiles his department investigates it) so there are damages he can easily prove.

is there any case law for what could happen to Johnny if found guilty?

Maximum punishment of 2 years in prison. In practice I doubt he's getting two years but he's probably getting more than a slap on the wrist for this one because sure, you can beat up wrongthinkers from Rebel Media but don't you dare say anything bad about RCMP constables, they are the good guys making sure Canada is the most free and diverse country in the world.

What a sad joke that these mounted cocksuckers let this perverted pedophile go on a rampage for years while doing nothing but the instant one of their widdle feewings get huwt they're suddenly demanding prosecution. Yaniv obviously has it coming for a million other things, but it makes me slightly MATI this is the reason.

Blaming the RCMP is unfair and you should know better, @AnOminous . Much like in the states, it's not the cops that decide what charges to press. It's up to crown council much like it is up to the district attorney in the US.

I've talked with a couple of RCMP officers about the Yaniv case(s), almost all the Surrey and Langley RCMP are aware of him and thought of him mostly with amused contempt, until the weapons violations and assault charges started happening. They would have LOVED to fuck him up years ago, but their hands are tied by both law and sadly political opinion (NOT public opinion) until and unless he goes far over the line, which he did when doxing and libelling cops.

Yes, but the prosecutors are vastly more likely to listen to their version of the feds than normal people. And the feds are apparently only interested in protecting their own.

Talking shit about the government is a sacred right. This has to be the absolute worst thing they could possibly have picked.

(That said I still hope he goes to jail but am anticipating another feeble prosecution leading to some bullshit fine and probation.)

I looked at the CCC and it mentioned the up to 2 years imprisonment. What about fines? I imagine being found guilty would also open up civil possibilities but I imagine that Jon financially tapped out. The only thing you could get is more tard cum.

Real life has been keeping me busy lately (in very good ways) and I missed this. I noticed the strata-charges hearing was a nothing, and saw nothing new on CRT so I checked out for the day. That'll teach me. Lol good catch to whoever found this first!

Miriams hearing is July 21. Not June.
It looks like the prosecutor is not wasting any time. Jon's first appearance is next week!

Jonathan is going to miss all those Covid delays...

It’s a warrant to appear. Basically they’ll put out a bench warrant if he doesn’t show.

“FAW
First Appearance Warrant/Police Release
P/S
To be added in future. Used after the execution of a warrant where the accused has been released by the police and the accused is making a first appearance in accordance with that release document (not in-custody).”

Thank you, appreciated.

Nice to see someone's got a rocket up their arse for once when it comes to yaniv. Not giving yaniv any credit here but I'd love to hear that this run-of-the-mill nasty tweet is what got the ball rolling and rather than appearing clever yaniv actually shot himself in the foot. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to learn that he bombarded every poor sod with phone calls and emails re his mother's/aunt's physical and sexual assaults.
