It's crazy in a special way. For a long time, most ID VTubers have always just pandered hard to the EN fanbase. At least, that's what we can observe from the HoloID branch. Hell, even NijiID's most popular members had mostly EN fanbases like Hana and Mika (could be wrong on this one though. Judging it from the clips I've watched of them)
But Kobo getting this fast while having an abnormally high viewership of mostly domestic fans, even compared to most big EN VTubers, might actually encourage ID VTubers to consider pandering to their domestic fanbase too. Or maybe Kobo's personality is just that special and most ID VTubers can't replicate the same appeals that she has. Not really sure why and how she's growing this fast either. I don't watch her at all.

Call me a schizo but I do actually think the ID girls are numberfagging behind the scenes and are looking for ways to try and understand Kobo's appeal. If Ollie's leaked membersonly post a month ago or so was to imply anything, it's that Ollie and at least a few ID members are confused and grew a bit insecure. Not that I think they should. If there's anything worse than tribe vs tribe numberfagging, it's numberfagging within the same agency and the same branch.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is Kiara, Fauna, or Mori. I've seen good rrats about all three of them. I refuse to try and debunk any of them, so I can just be surprised by whichever one it turns out to be.

Katarina is playing Duke Nukem Forever and is on the Hive mission. It's literally been just a blank screen with a "Censored" sticker for like 30 minutes because she can't show the nudity on YouTube. It's a really stupid idea for a stream because the audience literally can't see anything, including her.

Edit: She has finally changed the layout so her avatar is visible and you can see maybe the top cm of the screen.

But fr that's a terrible game to play on stream. at least 1/3 of the gameplay is going to be her mugshot censoring it.

Yeah it's a bad idea to stream a game like that at all. Her views dropped from like 35 to 20 as time went on. For ages you were just listening to the game audio with a censor screen.

I like that she plays odd games but this is just so stupid.

Katarina Qutie, one of the Israeli girls is, for some reason is punishing herself by playing Duke Nukem Forever and has to censor out an entire boss fight.

I would love the irony of girls who lurk KF being kept sane by lurking this thread with limited schizo and coomer input, it's generally the best place for honest discussion. They may numberfag but its pretty clear here some people really like them as they are, even if I don't get the appeal of certain vtubers it shows they are appreciated and it's not due to them being an object to coom to. RIP to the self esteem of girls not talked about ITT, but they probably still have fans.

Yeah, that's why IRyS has grown on me so much. Put her weirdness in with Gura's weird tangents, and that call-in went from zero to WTF in no time flat! I'd love to see more interaction between those two, I'm just not certain my brain could handle it.

People overexaggerate about laughter all the time, but I quite literally choked on my drink a bit from this.
It was when Roboco introduced herself as "high-spec" and Miko responded "No no no no, no high pecs!"

That reminds me, over in Prism Project, they played HuniePop with the entire game censored -- but it's mosaic, so you can still kinda see what they're doing at least:

And they cranked up the blockiness for the CGs.

I'm not familiar with Duke Nukem Forever, so I'm not sure if mosaic-censoring would be viable for the part you're talking about, and honestly I'm not even sure if it fools Youtube's AI.
But at least viewers would have something to look at.

Pretty much in the "Hive" level of Duke Nukem Forever you go into an Alien hive and there are lots of tits. Lots of naked women up on the walls with their tits exposed, certain enemy monsters like the alien queen have tits, etc. It's a weird one of them to have played as well because pretty much EVERYONE said that mission was very uncomfortable because Duke's girlfriends are kidnapped and forcefully raped and impregnated with alien creatures. It was a real tonal shift for quite a funny game.

It's also a VERY dark level, so even if you had mosaiced it, I doubt you'd have been able to see anything because basically everything is black, dark green and grey in the whole level.
