Excited for Hyper Street Fighter 2 which is going to replace Super Street Fighter II Turbo in his rotation. Complains that Tiny Tina's Wonderland is just borderlands with a new skin.

I'm now convinced he's such a contraian he argues with himself off stream, Mama Burnell in a wig larping as Khet Khet just thinks he's still streaming.

You will learn to throw away any sort of need of fixing thing that is broken when it comes to Phil. We are on chapter 13 of a long boring novel of Phil's "career" and the author never listens or fixes shit. Running theme here is that Phil is still going to get money for what he does and you need to not care how much he gets when you get reminded about the bank leaks.

Aren't there cheap prepaid options, where you pay only for what you use, for exactly that? I used to pay 4-5 bucks because I was on wifi most of the time and needed very little data/calls outside... maybe it's different in burger land.

Obviously, dave is way beyond anything sensible like that, as everyone has pointed out.

I'm a little surprised he hasn't already because Hyper allows you to choose which version of the characters from World Warrior to Super Turbo meaning he can pick up his broken as fuck Bison that everyone in the fgc has agreed upon that if you play it you're a fucking gormless scumbag without any skill.

it's really autistic when you think about it, Hyper Street Fighter II isn't "Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting", it's similar to Darkstalkers Resurrection, you pick whichever version of the character making it basically a collection within the collection.

Off-topic here hut I just randomly thought about how Phil in the past always begged for tips so he could avoid losing the CT condo but when the bankruptcy happened, we got to see that Phil actually never bothered paying for the place. Not doctored info, publicly available and people still donate to him. The guy clearly lies about how he spends money. I find it more impressive that Phil has managed to pool together so many retards in one place.

He's in for a surprise as the Capcom Fighting Collection uses the same RollBack Netcode that Digital Eclipse used in the 30th.

Now that the NDA has lifted I can release some info. The CFC ( Capcom Fighting Collection ) is developed inhouse by Capcom. Buuuuuuuuut its based off the 30th Anniversary Edition that Digital Eclipse previously did. So its pretty much the same in terms of performance and template. The menu's are tweaked but the Netcode remains mostly intact with a few changes for Rollback Frames. Although this is unlikely to be noticeable.

Its still Peer To Peer rather then being done on a central server like the streamed Street Fighter III Third Strike he previously played which is far superior in terms of online performance. This will in turn be at the mercy of Phil's Shitnet connection. Again 300Mbps Down / 10Mbps up is pretty dam poor especially when he is streaming on the shit connection. Being Peer To Peer meaning Player 1 hosts while Player 2 is the guest.

I give it about a month before Phil runs back to either the 30th Anniversary as the player base for CFC will be big at first but quickly taper off. Or he will go and play Third Strike through the Sony Streaming service which would offer us some laughs as he gets bodied.

Forget him doing Fightcade though, too confusing for him to setup and its full of Pro's who will fuck his shit up quick.

This post sums up Phils approach to games close to perfectly.
Get hit by everything because you're too lazy and checked out of the game to even try, call it "tanking."
Get 4th place, like at EVO.
And finally fuck playing games at all, sit down and talk about nothing instead.

Fightcade would completely expose how washed up he is. I don't play Super Turbo on it, the only SF game I play is Third Strike and I consider myself lower-mid level in skill. The Uriens that I face which are around my skill level can do Aegis setups with no problems, meanwhile Phil still plays that scrubby ass Tyrant Snorter.
