Bam Margera has another crisis on his plate besides recently fleeing rehab -- although they're related -- we've learned a split from his wife played a big part in his decision to leave the facility.
A rep for Bam tells TMZ ... he and his wife Nikki Boyd broke up a couple of weeks ago. Since then, he hasn't been able to get ahold of her or see his son, Phoenix Wolf. We're told she has not responded to any of Bam's calls or texts, and has been absent from his recovery process.

Due to the separation, Bam was staying at a sober living home when he made his unauthorized exit from rehab. We're told he held it together for a while, but after not hearing from Nikki or his son for 2 weeks ... he showed poor judgment and left the treatment center.

We're also told the facility wasn't giving him special celeb treatment -- which isn't a bad thing, but in the past others have, so that set him off too.

TMZ broke the story ... the "Jackass" star was reported missing Monday after leaving the FL rehab center, and cops went looking for him.
When they found him on Wednesday, a crisis intervention team went into a Delray Beach hotel and escorted him back to treatment. He learned Nikki took Phoenix out of Florida without telling him, and voluntarily went back to treatment.
Last year Nikki filed documents in Los Angeles seeking full custody of their son, allowing Bam supervised visitation.

We obtained photos of Bam out Tuesday night at a few bars close to his hotel. We're told he'd been off his medication for several days, and his team was worried he'd relapsed.
The good news is he's back in treatment.

He’s also got lots of posts about Brittney Spears which makes sense, most of these loons screeching at the moon about “fREEEEEEEEE bam” are being carried over from her conservatorship movement and they keep finding clues where they aren’t any. Now I'll play devils advocate, the rehab he was at wasn't dealing with his "fame" right. I forget who it was and it might have been Robert Downy Jr. Where he had a rehab that had employees bother him for shit and ask for money etc. Now IF (again remember I'm playing DA here) was the case, that's an unhealthy place, you can't be signing your pictures and calling little Timmy for his birthday when you're trying to get clean. Now he's the Jack ass guy from 2 decades ago, not Iron man so no I doubt the staff were hitting him up for signed pics.

He's got a wife, kids, and family who's NEVER given up on him, this bull shit about the omg he's a slave because Phil and Ape really irks me. As mentioned before it's new term in news due to abuse but Bam has a support system from it, he'd be DEAD flat out by now with out it.

Tbf when RDJ was in rehab he wasn't Iron Man. He was Less Than Zero and Ally McBeal. Even after he left rehab it took years for him to start being respected again.

There's a really good awards acceptance speech where RDJ talks about how when he couldn't get sober Mel Gibson housed him, took care of him, got him work. Really stood by his side without asking for anything in return until he got clean.

It's a shame Bam doesn't have someone like that but at the same time Bam needs to want to be sober for it to work.

I can’t name sources but in skateboarding he’s without a doubt blacklisted by any company or professional who still has their dignity and I know that several people who were featured in the original THPS games had discussions around the time he was fighting strangers in videos on Reddit about his behavior.

This next piece of gossip was told to me off the record but comes from sources that have no reason to lie about Bam as he is insignificant in comparison to who said it (at least in the skateboarding industry), but during the final throes of Bam’s last IG meltdown he was bugging all his friends in skateboarding’s high places to party with him/give him a place to crash/post on social media about how life is unfair to Bam/call out his wife/Tremaine/Spike/Knoxville on IG and it got bad enough that almost everyone who knew Bam decided enough was enough.

Everyone except for Johnny Schillereff.

By 1994, a guy named Andy Howell had abandoned a failing board company he started called Underworld Element and the owner offered Johnny an opportunity to start a new company to replace it. Instead, he developed a vision for a rebirth for Underworld Element which we all know by now was massively successful. By ‘98 he turned the company around by figuring out a new way to make boards lighter and stronger, technology which he called Featherlight. Shortly after, by adding Bam to his team he ensured that he would be richer than he ever thought he’d be. Bam claims he was making six figure royalty checks for his heartagram board at his popularity height so you can assume element made tons more. In 2020 he left Element to start The Heart Supply, a company that has Bam’s back regardless of his actions. I assume it’s guilt or pity, but bam will always have someone to drop new merchandise with his face and name on it. And despite that, he still manages to fail.

To be fair that's enabling, not supporting. I meant that it's a shame Bam doesn't have someone willing to literally lock him in a house and keep him sober and be there for him despite how annoying and insufferable he gets. Again, Bam doesn't WANT that. But it's still sad that everyone has given up on him.

I'm sure RDJ was just as much of a prick when he was addicted, but when he decided he wanted help, someone was there for him. Who knows if he would have gotten sober otherwise.
