I cannot believe just how little self-control Bam has. Even guys like Steve-0 who you think has very little managed to pull his ass out of the sewer and stay that way, albiet with a lot of help from Friends. Bam, with even more resources, cannot manage to stay sober or stop blaming everyone but himself for longer then 2 weeks tops. I am honestly glad I never became rich and famous, because it sure seems to lead to the easiest routes to complete self-destruction, every bit as much or more as living on the streets.

Fucking dozens at least, and he surely has some money left to take another shot at getting better. Bam was became a professional skateboarder when he was a young teenager so a lot of his important develpment happened with him surrounded by yes-men and shielded from the worst consequences of his actions. He still doesn't have the life experience Steve-O had 20 years ago, it'd be difficult enough to change even without all the brain damage he definitely has.

Charles Bukowski? That’s actually really fitting if you know anything about Charles. The difference however is that Bukowski was an extremely gifted writer despite his rampant alcoholism.

The craziest part of this is that Steve-O had an upbringing that the large majority of his fans could never relate to. His dad is Ted Glover and was the president of the South American division of Pepsi. As a child Steve-O and his family lived in Canada, Brazil, Venezuela, and Uganda.

Explains a lot actually, if you’ve ever wondered how he was able to afford wasting his twenties doing drugs and party tricks to impress professional skateboarders in LA.

And despite what can only be imagined as an extremely pampered and elitist childhood Steve-O has always been more down to earth than the guy with a backwoods middle class Pennsylvania childhood.

We're told police showed up along with a crisis intervention team, which included Bam's mother and father. His camp says they held an intervention on the spot, with other members of Bam's family calling in to speak to him.

Bam's camp says Bam insisted on seeing his son, and he was told he needed to get treatment before being able to see his kid.

We're told Bam voluntarily agreed to check in to a new rehab facility ... and he's currently en route.

The Broward Sheriff's Office confirmed deputies from Deerfield Beach made contact with Bam on Monday night and he was found safe.

m Margera is worried he'll never see his son again if he stays in rehab and that's why he bailed ... but his wife is pleading for him to check himself back in.

Check any bar in a small town, you'll find some barflies that by all sense should have died ages ago, but they still live to drink another day, until they don't. A lot of the rehabs in Florida are scams. They'll keep you there as long as the money is coming in. Once it's not, you're magically better. But even by those standards, a year plus is ridiculous. After about 90-120 days he should have been moved to a halfway house/sober living facility. TBH I think he was still getting drugs in his previous rehab. If he had actually been clean for a year and then went on a binge, he most likely would have OD'd because it would be such a shock to his body.
