She said "when you are dealing with high prices on everything from gas, to food, to rent, and that's the only thing you are hearing about in the media sometimes. Come this November, will voters be more concerned with saving money than saving democracy?"
Cross brought on MSNBC analyst and Democrat pollster Fernand Amandi, who warned Americans that they "better" remember January 6th, calling it nothing less than the most important story in the history of the republic! Hyperbole much?
Breaking out a lame and incoherent scare tactic, Amandi claimed that as bad as inflation and gas prices are now:

If you want people to stop caring about sky high inflation and gas prices, don't enact policies that create sky high inflation and gas prices.
Oh, you mean one country that we're literally begging for oil and the other we're sneakily importing it from? And I say that as someone who comes from a Cuban family, who—go to Cuba now. Ask me about gas prices and the economy there. Go to Venezuela. Go to Russia."
If you're in the Navy, you're already into all kinds of weird debauchery. It wasn't a random hairdresser, but there was rope involved.
The question is, is that even feasable to do? The dems are taking a beating right now because everything is falling apart. Do they really want another two years of shit getting worse with zero scapegoats to blame?ABC spoke like democrats retaining the house and gaining 4 senate seats was something that had already happened, like it was a report of fact. The polling for the administration and the democrat party is abysmal and they had over 30 people retire from the house. Republicans haven't been in a position this good since at least 2010 midterms, possibly ever, to get both chambers of congress. That would need to be "fix is in" to monumental scale. Maybe that will happen so that they can crackdown on the backlash, do some terror attacks/false flags to get a bunch of "domestic terrorist" powers, declare martial law, I don't know. A midterm outcome with democrats keeping the house as well as gaining that much in the senate seems unfathomable to me...
Edit: legitimately, of course. They could be crazy enough to do the mother of all election "fortifications" to save democracy.
It's tomorrow. Mo Brooks is fucking finished. He is the political representation of the Atlanta Seahawks.Today I saw my first Mo Brooks campaign sign. First one I think I've ever seen or at least noticed.
The runoffs are next Tuesday.
People will blame the un-endorsement fiasco if/when he loses, but really this guy is apparently dogshit at campaigning (at least in my area).
Wait really? I thought it was the 28th.It's tomorrow. Mo Brooks is fucking finished. He is the political representation of the Atlanta Seahawks.
From my time working for the government, the employees I was most worried about were former military. Most of them were great! But what I started to notice when talking to some of them, especially in middle management type positions, was a sense of entitlement. It's no secret that veteran's preference is a thing in Federal hiring. But it's a necessity in most cases: if somebody barely qualifies for a position and has veteran's preference, they can't be passed over for somebody without it. What this created was a sense among some that they were entitled to these jobs and authority, a feeling of invincibility because they knew they'd be unlikely to lose it no matter what they did, and a sense that they were owed time on easy street for their service. As a veteran/active reservist I hate anyone who uses "as a veteran" for carte blanche ass pats and lifetime ZOG jobs.
I totally understand that as a country we fucked over Nam and even cold war vets but that doesn't mean we have to absolutely worship anyone who put on a uniform.
I'm absolutely proud of what I did which was mostly jumping out of airplanes, getting shithoused, going to strip clubs, learning my own limits, going to third world countries to be shot at, making friends for life, but that doesn't make me some public service savant.
The other truth of the matter is, we don't really have a Democracy like they say it is. Even if you look at it from a Democratic perspective, gerrymandering and their inability to pass voting protections means that the will of the people is being subverted. Our system will not be reformed through the Biden administration, and transparently works for the betterment of the wealthy and the connected. Is their winning strategy really to demand that people sacrifice their wellbeing to save it?Do we need to remind the lefties of one of their own anthems?
You gentlemen who think you have a mission
To purge us of the seven deadly sins
Should first sort out the basic food position
Then start your preaching, that’s where it begins
You lot, who preach restraint and watch your waist as well
Should learn, for once, the way the world is run
However much you twist, or whatever lies that you tell
Food is the first thing, morals follow on
Incredibly based and correct, God speed.Has anyone talked about the new platform the Texas GOP has adopted? I haven't actually formed an opinion but they've openly declared they want to repeal the 1965 Voting Rights Act so that's an automatic "yup based" from me.
Some other notable additions to the party platform:
There's a ton of shit in it. MSM is freaking out and the length of this Twitter thread where a tranny freaks out about it says alot about how well they're taking it.
- “We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States,”
- Floats the concept of a state electoral college
- Refers to homosexuality as "an abnormal life choice"
- Explicitly states Texas retains the right to secede from the U.S.
- Calls for the abolishment of Department of Education, Federal Reserve, a bunch of other federal bodies
- Advocates returning prayer and the Bible to schools and government buildings
- Official opposition to mass lockdowns and contact tracing
I see it as a desperation move, honestly. They know Trump’s election woke up a segment of the voter base that the BLM and ANTIFA bullshit backfired hard.Is their winning strategy really to demand that people sacrifice their wellbeing to save it?
It was quoting Angy Joe but they didn't put quotation marks for some reasonRegarding the ABC tweet/segment, is this a revelation that they know a yuge organizational effort to fix all elections going forward for Dems is assured by Satan, or is it just another example of copium and being so out of touch with reality?
From Based Masters to the Cornyn booing + Crenshaw heckling to the Texas GOP platform to Greitens, the strategy seems to be inundating the media with a barrage of ultra right-wing statements and positions, even if it's unintentional.Has anyone talked about the new platform the Texas GOP has adopted? I haven't actually formed an opinion but they've openly declared they want to repeal the 1965 Voting Rights Act so that's an automatic "yup based" from me.

I'm going to admit that it makes me go "God Damn it Texas."Has anyone talked about the new platform the Texas GOP has adopted? I haven't actually formed an opinion but they've openly declared they want to repeal the 1965 Voting Rights Act so that's an automatic "yup based" from me.

This part is the most important by far:Has anyone talked about the new platform the Texas GOP has adopted? I haven't actually formed an opinion but they've openly declared they want to repeal the 1965 Voting Rights Act so that's an automatic "yup based" from me.

If they get that passed, the Dems will be forced to abandon their plans to turn Texas blue. If its successful, every other red state will pass a similar law, and the Dems will no longer be able to seize control of states by printing ballots in a big city.State Electoral College: The State Legislature shall cause to be enacted a State Constitutional Amendment creating an electoral college consisting of electors selected by the popular votes cast within each individual state senatorial district, who shall then elect all statewide office holders.
They benefit from assuming it is the national platform so of course they will pretend to assume that it's the national platform. A trick the right hasn't figured out how to use quite right yet.I doubt liberals will understand the nuance of "Texas Republicans" and will immediately assume that this is, in fact, the national platform.
That platform is basically the opposite of whatever California specifically the Democrats here been pushing nationwide.Has anyone talked about the new platform the Texas GOP has adopted? I haven't actually formed an opinion but they've openly declared they want to repeal the 1965 Voting Rights Act so that's an automatic "yup based" from me.

That "state electoral college" is something that I think I could get behind, and would be a benefit both to Texas and to all other states as well. Same with the lockdown opposition.Has anyone talked about the new platform the Texas GOP has adopted? But it’s triggering the fuck out of the liberals and DNC, forcing them to signal boost it.That "state electoral college" is something that I think I could get behind, and would be a benefit both to Texas and to all other states as well. Same with the lockdown opposition.
The rest of that is just blatant red meat that really does nothing to grow the party and politically are almost all pipe dreams.
